We stayed at this hotel twice. We stayed at this hotel when we first arrived and again after the trip around turkey on the way back home. The room is very nice and clean with friendly staff. They do make us feel comfortable and safe. They also have a really generous breakfast but after so many days eating the same... More

Outstanding location--easy walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Topkapi Palace in one direction, and the Spice Bazaar and Grand Bazaar in the other--plus a tram line at the end of the street for excursions farther afield. Clean, comfortable rooms and a feeling of security (important for a solo female traveller), generous breakfast, and free airport pickup all... More

We spent 5 days in Istanbul and stayed at the Maywood Hotel. It is a perfectly located place, close to the most popular attractions like Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and lots more. Within a 5 minutes walk you can easily reach busses and the tram or just walk wherever you want! Everyone at the hotel was incredebly attentive,... More

The hotel is located in the old centre of istanbul. The most beautiful monoments can be reached by foot. A lot of restaurants and souvenir shops can be found around the corner. The staff of the hotel is very kind. The breakfast is rich and various. This hotel can be really recommanded.

Our stay at this hotel, was wonderful, because of the great service and comfortable rooms. The Hotel employees showed great customer service, by highlighting the things we should see and do, and showing us around downtown Istanbul. The rooms in the Hotel, were comfortable for my family and I, the room temperature is controlled by us, and the bathroom tiles... More

Not Long back from our 7 day break in Istanbul,This was my 5th visit and the magic is still there. We normally stay in the new part of the city at Taksim Square but this time we decided to stay in the old city at Sultanahmet. We stayed in a wonderful hotel at Sirkeci called The Maywood.I cannot praise this family... When we started looking for a hotel in Istanbul, Maywood was a good choice in terms of location and price. Location was ideal, you could either walk or take a tram to some of the best sights of Istanbul. Plenty of eating options nearby. The breakfast spread was quite good with a lot of options. We also came across the... More

This small hotel is nothing to write homw about- but it is clean and relatively safe. I stayed here recently as an add on part of a business meeting, and it was already pre-determined where we would be. What I'm saying is I didn't choose it myself, and perhaps my expectations were too high. The good = friendly staff, decent... More

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Basic, but very clean, rooms. Great breakfast. Couldn't ask for a better location for visiting the important tourists sights and exploring the Beyoglu at night. I highly recommend this hotel for visiting the Old City.
