Great location at a great price, this hotel met all our needs and was close to everything. Staff were extremely helpful at all times. Rooms were clean, quiet, comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat with an excellent view of Sea of Marmara.

It's all about the location in Istanbul! We were able to walk to all the sites in the Sultanahmet area and that is a big plus. We had requested a room that we didn't get and that was disappointing. We in fact got a room that was not recommended after reading the reviews here on Tripadvisor. We were 1 floor... More

We stayed at the GPH for 5 nights while exploring Istanbul. The hotel is in a quiet street, yet only a minute's walk to restaurants, shops and bars. The Topaki Palace, Blue Mosque, Sofia Hague, Grand Bazaar and spice markets are all within easy walking distance. Our room was spacious and clean, with views down the road. Breakfast was delicious... We had a great stay at Grand Peninsula hotel. We were there in September for a week - the weather was perfect - although we had one day of rain. The location is second to none - close to all the attractions of Sultanahmet -with all the monuments, superb shops , restaurants and tramway stop just a short walk away.... More

The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast on the terrace was beautiful and the views were outstanding. We felt it was well worth the price, which wasn't that expensive for staying right in the heart of all the sights. You can walk to everything of interest from here.

The great things: Breakfast was delicious Location Service Cost The bad things: Can't think of anything Wonderful, wonderful stay! My husband and I were in Istanbul for the first time, and Grand Peninsula did a lot to help us have a wonderful time! Their location is ideal. Almost everything we wanted was in walking distance (and when something wasn't in... More

The GPH is a tightly-run and welcoming "boutique" hotel just a stone's throw from all of Sultanahmet's major attractions and literally around the corner from Akbiyik Cadessi which has an abundance of good bars and restaurants and a chilled out vibe away from the madness. The staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating before we even left England and even... More

I stayed here for three nights this week after a two week tour around Turkey. It was great in every respect - friendly, helpful staff who greeted you by name every time they saw you, clean rooms and a lovely woman serving breakfast on one of the terraces. It is in a ver good location, close to many key sights... More

To say we needed an early check-out would be an understatement. The staff at this hotel was more than happy to wake up at 3:00am and arrange a shuttle to the airport for us. They were incredibly nice and accommodating, happy to help us find good food around the neighborhood.

We loved our stay in the Grand Peninsula Hotel. The location is perfect, next to many great restaurants and bars and a 5 minute walk to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, etc. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming!
