We loved our stay in the Grand Peninsula Hotel. The location is perfect, next to many great restaurants and bars and a 5 minute walk to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, etc. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming!

Excellent choice value for money. Very polite personnel, real professionals, helped us to organize the week that we spent in Istanbul. Excellent location, short walking distance from Agia Sophia / Topkapi and Sultanahmet. 7 min from tram station. The area is the most touristic and the most beautiful of Istanbul (Constantinople). All buildings in the area are renovated, Marmara sea... More

We have stayed in this Hotel as a family of four twice now in a comfortable family room and have found the service, location and general ambience of the hotel to be excellent. They provide a great pick up from the airport for 20euros for the whole family which is as cheap as the airport bus, doesn't take forever as... More

My family stayed here for 2 nights. We had 2 adjoining rooms which were spotlessly clean and just what we needed. Breakfast was child friendly and very enjoyable. Wifi worked fine from the room. The staff on reception were great helping with infomation about the trams, local play parks etc. Highly recommended. Just to note they provide a kettle and... More

My family of 7 had 2 rooms in this wonderful hotel for 3 nights. The desk clerks, including Sabahattin, Ramazan, and Ahmed, were very nice and extremely helpful in giving us sightseeing advice. This place has a lovely terrace where you can eat breakfast, or just go up there for a peaceful evening overlooking the Marmara Sea. The rooms have... More

My friend and I each had a very comfortable room with all the mod cons and just a few steps up to the glorious roof terrace (which was also the breakfast area) where we could relax in the evenings with wonderful views across the twinkling Sea of Marmara and the Bosphorous. Our hotel managers could not do enough for us,... More

My husband and I stayed here for 7 days and found the room comfortable and a great location. It was fairly priced , rooms were clean and the staff friendly and accommodating. The hotel had a Bed and Breakfast feel without the intrusion of owners. (Note: If you use the refrigerator leave the wood cabinet door open so it works... More

Lovely small and friendly hotel in a beautiful little side street, very clean, great shower, comfy beds. Staff really helpful and will arrange the cheapest airport transfers for you! I couldn't believe how close we were to all the historical sights. Istanbul is an amazing, unique city. I will definitely be going back, and would certainly stay at the same... More

We originally booked at the Hanedan, which is a block away, but we were given two rooms instead at the Grand Peninsula, a sister hotel. The rooms were pretty good. They were not very spacious but the furnishings were tasteful and the bathroom was great. The pillows weren't comfortable though and we had difficulty controlling the a/c. The hotel is... More
