My husband and I spent a week in mid may at this wonderful hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much. Great location, very friendly and helpfull staff. Conditions were excellent. Big room, comfy double bed, very clean permises. We got room with a balcony and view to Bosphorus (ask for 501 room:))) and it was absolutely wonderfull, as expected. Very... More

Like other reviews on this hotel we loved it. The location is excellent. The staff are excellent. The service is excellent. We booked a standard double room and were upgraded to a large double room. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom makes very good use of a typically small European hotel bathroom. Nothing was ever too much trouble for... More

My husband and me spent a whole week at the Grand Peninsula Hotel. In general, it was great value for money. Its location is good and quite near to the Aya Sofya, Blue mosques, Sultanmahmet Palace and train station(only 5 minutes' walk). The room is not luxurious but very quiet, clean and comfortable. You can enjoy free breakfast as well... More

My wife and I spent two nights at the Grand Peninsula recently. The hotel's location is very convenient to the Arasta Bazaar and the Sultanahmet area. Our room was spotless, very nicely furnished, and very comfortable, with a beautiful, modern bathroom. The hotel breakfast was simple but very adequate. The manager was friendly and extremely helpful in giving us information... More

We only have superlatives for this small hotel. We stayed in a large double which was spacious, bright and absolutely spotless. The location of the hotel cannot be better. Close to the sights of Sultanahmet square, restaurants are steps away but because the hotel is in a smaller street we had absolutely no noise. The staff was polite and very... More

We chose this hotel for being a more budget friendly option, but still close to the sights of the old city in Sultanahmet - and it didn't disappoint. From arrival the staff were super friendly, and would go out of their way to suggest what you could do with your day, and how to get around. They even organised for... More

This is wonderful budget hotel. From the helpful staff, to the location and with basic breakfast included you can't go wrong. I had a small double - more than adequate as not spending much time in hotel. Kept clean (but not full service each day). Good local style breakfast spread with wonderful views over the rooftops to the sea.. So... More

I recently stayed in Istanbul's Grand Pennisula Hotel with my partner in February 2015, the end of winter and 'low season' in Turkey. We paid 30 Euro's a night, which was very reasonable and got a room on level 5 which was beneficial as it didn't connect to the central staircase. PROS - Location was excellent, in the heart of... This hotel is very comfortable, relax.Staff is very kind. It is situated in Sultanahmat mosque in centre. But Sultanamhmat area is very expensive to buy clothes or to eat or drink in there . I walked by tram-car, It was amazing . L loved this city so much
