The location of the hotel was unbeatable. It is located within walking distance from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, the Grand Bazaar, Basilica Cistern, and many cute restaurants and eateries in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. The staff was nice, friendly, and helpful when we needed directions or suggestions of where to eat or what to see locally. The rooms... More

It's a sweet little spot that's kind of hidden from the main road. Small rooms with all the basics that's needed. The staff where very friendly (even with check-in at 2 in the morning) it's clean and the breakfast is good!! It's a great place to crash if you're looking for something were you can sleep and shower after you've... More

Its a good boutique hotel. Rooms and the bathrooms are a tab bit small but cant complaint for the location. Its central in Sultanehmat, its hardlty a 10 min walk to Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. Has many places for food around it. The breakfast is the traditional turkish one consisting of cheeses, olives, bakery items, tomatoes, shorba , apple... More

We had very comfortable stay and our room was cozy and nice. Staff really friendly and helpful. Location was perfect as all the attractions are walking distance hagia Sophia you can see from the terrace. I really liked their breakfast room and terrace. Nice view of the city. Breakfast was lavish and prepared whatever you tell them to cook.

I spend 7 nights in this hotel. The location is perfect and too close to the main tourist attraction within Sultanehmet area such as Hagia Sophia, Blue mosque, Grand Bazzar, Topkapi palace, ..etc. The staffs were so kind and friendly and every time you meet them they smile. Its my first time in Istanbul and in this hotel, but defintly... More

It is on a comparatively quiet street having decent rooms, clean and regular housekeeping. It offers remarkable morning breakfast with elaborate menus and comfortable table arrangements on naturally lighted terrace hall. Best thing is its friendly staff at the desk, who loves to help us in any matter during our stay and make us feel at home.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The location was near all the historical sites but on a quiet street. This hotel has a great breakfast with wonderful views of the city. The first night we were given the corner room on the 5th floor which was roomy and clean. The 2nd night we were given an adjacent room on the... More

According to the price, it is a true gem! Its not easy to find a hotel in Istanbul, because there are more than 700 of them just in sultanahmet... :) :) It is right in the middle of the old city center, in a quiet street, everything to see in Sultanahmet is in a short walking distance (tram station in... It is centrally located (Sultanahmet touristic area) nice small hotel. Very close to Saint Sophia, Blue Mosque, Eminonu (boats to Bosphorus, islands and other towns of Istanbul) tram, Egyptian Bazaar, Covered Bazaar, tram, etc. I stayed alone and my room was a bit narrow as they put double bed for a single room. Other than that everything was just fine.... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
