We stayed at Ferman Hotel in Istanbul for just a few days. A family of five we had two rooms on two different floors. With a central location in walking distance from many of the main sites, a nice view from the rooftop restaurant, decent breakfast buffet and good service, we all enjoyed our short stay at Ferman Hotel. This hotel is truly a wonderful hotel. It's budget friendly and customer service is great. After a hectic time traveling, we were warmly greeted by the front desk person who checked us in quickly. It's located walking distance from restaurants and attractions. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Great location, excellent value. Breakfast on the roof deck is literally in the shadow of the mosque. There is always cherry juice and Turkish delight in the lobby--I must have gained a kilo just by snacking on them every time I went in or out of the hotel room!

This hotel has a first class location near to Sultanahmet Square and all the associated antiquity. Fabulous views of the Blue mosque from the breakfast terrace. Spacious comfortable room, although the beds are very hard. Possibly the quietest hotel in the area, on arriving we were quickly shown to our room and it quickly became apparent that we were one... Decent hotel, spacious room, and a good view at breakfast from the rooftop terrace. The lovely staff tops off a lovely stay. Sinan and Ahmed from the breakfast bar were wonderful all through. Also loved how close it was from sultanhamet square and all the cafés.

Good large rooms and bathroom but for the budget traveller. Breakfast was a large spread but nothing too tasty. Service is great. However the rooms are dark and the aircon struggled against the heat. The bathtub is elevated and older people may struggle to get in and out. The location is good on a quiet street. All in all not... More

My fiance and I ventured to Istanbul on a very last minute trip. We booked the Ferman Hotel after reading several great reviews and we hoped for the best. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the very friendly Sinan at the front desk; our trip was off to a great start! Sinan took amazing care of us during our... More

The location is almost unbeatable if you are looking to stay in Sultanahmet. It's a very short walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet park, Basilica Cistern, the Hippodrome, the Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace, and it's near plenty of hamams & places to eat. The walk to Galata bridge, crossing over & exploring near the fish market & Galata... More

Perfect location for exploring Sultanahmet. Interesting locale also to poke around the area (old fishing area with wooden buildings) near the Sea of Marmara. Great views from the terrace. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I booked Ferman based on Trip Advisor and Agoda reviews and I swear I broke down crying when I saw my room (the fact that a taxi driver dropped us couple of streets away in a maze of narrow streets, vaguely pointing in hotel's general direction might have been a factor of me being upset even before entering the hotel)....
