What made the hotel stay memorable were the staff. They were accommodating and friendly. The hotel too is located very well - close to the major tourist attractions but in a quite, cosy corner of the city. The Sea of Marmara could be seen from the windows and balconies from any floor (the view from the terrace where the restaurant... More

Excellent care of incoming tourists. From the moment we arrived, Vassel made sure that we were comfortable in our room, felt safe & secure in the community and had an incredible vacation experience in Istanbul. The hotel is located in a very friendly and safe area, within easy walking distance of most of the important sights. Vassel, as well as... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this excellent hotel. The staff both at reception and the rest of the hotel went out of their way to assist and to ensure that our stays (twice) at this comfortable Hotel were first class. It has a good location for local sight seeing and restaurants and the roof top terrace provides excellent views... More

From the first phone call to ms.Maya the front desk receptionist I felt very comfortable by the way she sounded very welcoming of me as your hotel guest and extended an assurance of helping me in planning my visit to Ankara. She was very courteous a quality that will help this hotel and her as well to continue to progress... More

Interesting boutique hotel with its many floors and strange floor numbering system. The manager is a most genial host who is helpful in all matters related to Istanbul and Turkey. The Turkish delight and baklava treats in the lobby are made on site and are delicious - the real true white Turkish delight, not the gelatinous stuff that people believe... More

I had a wonderful time at the hotel. The rooftop view is stunning of the Blue Mosque and water where we would have breakfast every morning. The service is great. Veysel was exceptional and would share the best places to go around the city. He tended to all our needs and was great to us. The rooms are clean and... More

We landed in Ferman unexpectedly for a one night's stay, due to a chaotic situation at the airport. Exhausted and checking in at close to 3am in the morning, we were greeted with a warm welcome by Mert, at the front desk, who ready and happy to receive us and so eager to ensure that we got the rest we... We stayed at the Ferman for a week in April after it was recommended to me by my parents who had stayed there the previous year. The staff at this hotel is absolutely amazing. Veysel and Maya were the duty managers that would welcome us every morning and arrange anything we asked, from tours to Turkish baths. They both speak... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
