Unfortunately we booked ourselves to stay at this hotel through booking.com... we arrived to find that we were given 2 twin rooms instead of the pre requested double rooms first disappointment, we requested it in the morning and told that we were fully booked and we will let you know, which were never changed till we checked out. The room... More

I was there 1 year ago. The location is great. 50 metres from Istiklal street, 10 min from Taksim square and Taksim Gezi park by walk. Around the hotel there are lots of restaurants, fast food, shops. The atmosphere is amazing! The room was small, but clean. The staff was friendly, they speak English well. There is free wi fi... This was my second trip to Istanbul, I choose the same hotel because the location is really great, the rooms and toilets are really clean, the staff are welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is perfect. If I come back to Istanbul, I'd definitely choose the same hotel. 5 minutes walk to Taksim Square

I went to this hotel after I failed to go to another hotel I had a reservation in. It's 5 minutes to walk to Taksim square and 10 minutes from the airport bus station. The hotel is located right off the main walking street (Istiklal street) down a little cobblestone alley. The room was small, but modern and comfortable. The... More

My fiancee and I stayed here for 10 days on our first trip to Istanbul. We were advised to stay in Beyoglu, hence why we chose this hotel (price was a factor too). If you are young and want to be part of the action, I highly recommend staying in Beyoglu - across the river from the main tourist area... More

I stayed there one night with my husband and our baby and I am sure that we never go back there again. To be honest nothing was wrong with the people who were working there as they were nice and polite but the "hotel" was very poor and old. It is in a very busy and crowded little alley very... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
