I picked this place randomly when I was in Canada and knew that when I got to Istanbul I didn't want to hunt for a hostel. It's clean and Ahmet is a nice guy. He watches out for his guests and is friendly. I'd recommend staying here to anyone. The location is perfect.

The hostel is very well located, very close to Istiklal Sreet which is where the clothing stores are, there are also bars, cafes and clubs. Nevizade is also very close, about 10 min walking, this is the bar neighborhood and it is a must see when in Istanbul. The hostel is very clean overall, clean rooms and bathroom, hot water... More

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The place is very well monitored (with security cameras and personal staff 24/7) and I felt safe the whole time I was there. The rooms are clean and neat. This is not the most luxurious place but it is in a great location and it is very economical. If you plan on touring... More

This hostel has a great location near Istiklal street in Taksim, which has many restaurants and stores. From there, it's easy to walk down to the famous sites of the New Mosque, Suleymaniye, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sofia. Or one could opt for the subway or bus, which is also nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful... More

Loved the location- very central. Ahmet was very hospitable and personable. If I ever return to turkey, I will stay here again. I don't know if I'd be able to find it if it weren't for the taxi driver so find a taxi that looks trustworthy and let him get you there. You have to go up a bunch of... More

The place is in a very good location! very accessible. If you are coming by bus from the Airport, you would need around 25 mins of walking from bus station, that is if you are familiar already with the place. Upon check-in the you will be asked for a deposit. sadly for me, the guy at the counter was not... More

Just a few minutes away from Taksim and a crossroad of the vivid Istiklal Caddesi. It can get a bit loud during the night (don't forget oropax ;)), but if you're looking for something quite you need to pick another area i guess. The owner is very curteous und can do the best Menemen (try it, it's turkish breakfast!). We... More

Chambers of the Boheme was a great hostel! The location is wonderful, the rooms are spacious, the common room is lovely and the beds are comfortable! Although certain things looked a bit tired as it is a old building, everything was kept well clean! Ahmet was such an amazing man. He helped us with absolutely everything. From bus tickets to... This was a fantastic bad for us to explore Istanbul. The hostel itself was very well located, within two minutes of public transport that would have you at Aya Sofia within 15 minutes! It was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful, they even offered to personally take us to the shop to buy us tickets for our... More

I stayed here as part of a travel group, sleeping in quite a small/cosy room with 4 other people. But considering the circumstances, this was a lovely place to stay. It is situated very close to Taksim Square yet is found hidden away in a lovely little street right by the bustling heart of Istanbul. The staff were very friendly... More
