If you are expecting a minimum luxury you won't find it. Rooms are basic but clean. The breakfast is very basic and adequate - in fact this is the poorest breakfast I eaver had. However since the location is really nice and the guy at reception was good I am going to give a rating of 3 for this hostel.

We stayed in this hostel for a night, in a double room with a shared bathroom, after we had left a terrible 'hotel' we had booked. Even though it was late and we were desperate to find a place to stay, the manager gave us a very good price. The room was extremely basic but clean, the shared bathroom was... More

This cute little hostel is a hidden gem. The rooms are spacious and there is sir conditioning. The cleanliness could have been a little better but nothing beat the breakfast with a view of the Bosphorus Sea. There were many stairs to climb so beware anyone with leg problems. I stayed during Ramadan so there was a great deal of... More

I was charged 100t/l and it was the worst place I ever stayed in and my room was ensuite so God help the rest. It had two single beds, no chair, wardrobe and that was it. The rug was not hoovered and I did not dare look under the bed. The beds were uncomfortable. It was right behind reception and... More

It was expensive. It was terribly conditioned. It was unclean. Combined above, it was not a good place for one expects more even for a backpacker. The only good thing was, it was so close to the Blue Mosque!

C1 ( 2013.08.08 ) I have been stayed there 4 days. This hostel's merit was only one, cheap. I don't understand another's reveiw that there was clean. I liked trip, so I have stayed many accomodation, hostel, etc. There was a worst accomodation in my life. Especially, there was a hostel for Korean, I think. ( I'm Korean. ) This... More

That was the first time I stayed in the Hostel, maybe that was a good place but for me it was very bad place. Because I stayed everytime in the Hotel, and I get used it, after those things when I go a Hostel, I see the difference. But thank you for everyone at there.

Stayed at Sinbad hostel twice - 2006 and 2007. Rooms weren't nice, simple 6 bed dormitory with almost no equipment. Bathroom was in terrible condition, only cold water. OK, now some warm words... hostel is situated in perfect location, just a few steps from Blue Mosque. Althought conditions weren't good at all, I must say I quite like my stay... More

So we stayed in the Sinbad Hostel for 3 nights. Let's start with the good things: The breakfast is good, we didn't got an egg anywhere else and the view from the terrace was nice. We slept in a dorm and the size of the room was okay. What we didn't like: The WC is soo narrow. It was nearly... More

This place was awful! Noisy and busy and unfriendly. The guy who served us when we arrived was such a jerk (we would have walked out but everywhere was full), and we genuinely thought he might have been drunk (didn't answer our questions properly, laughed at us when we asked what time was checkout). My bed had dirt in it... More
