Location of this hostel is insanely amazing. If you go on the rooftop you will be able to catch the Blue Mosque in the backdrop. The prices are also very cheap. The rooms Although are not very organized. Too many backpack travellers as i was unable to find a locker for my room to keep. But for me these things... More

Staying in Nobel Hostel is a good choice, where is located near by Blue Mosque, Ayasofya, Yerebatan Sarnıcı and so on.

The location was in great place near the blue mosque and aghia sofia. Our room was on the last floor. We had view of the blue mosque and every morning we were hearing the imam to invite people to pray. The terrace has a great view of vosporos. The breakfast at the cafe near the hostel was rich and had... More

We only spent one night here in October as we were only exploring Istanbul for the day, however If we were staying for another day or two then we would of been more than happy to spend three nights at the Nobel Hostel as it is a great place to stop off at and explore the beautiful city. The staff... More

We just spent two lovely nights at Nobel Hostel in Instanbul. The hostel is located in the very center of the city and you can easily reach famous sights such as the Blue Mosque, Ayasofia, Topkapi Palace etc. in a short 5 minutes walk. Lovely neighbourhood with nice restaurants and cafès. We had a triple room with our own bathroom... More

It is an excellent location for visiting attractions, restaurants and shops. The rooms appear to be recently renovated and are very clean. There is a roof terrace with an amazing view of the Blue Masque at night. This is a family owned hotel/hostel and we found the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (Turkish style) is served in the family... More

The staff was so nice and helpful. The location is very great close to many tourist attractions in Sultanahmet downtown that you can walk like 5-10mins. And here has the rooftop restaurant with great view of sea and Blue mosque as well. But they don't have elevator so if your room is on the 4th floor and you have many... More

I can't praise the staff at Nobel Hostel enough for going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and fun. Everyone was so friendly and helpful that it really made our trip extra special. We stayed in one of the 8-bed dorms which was clean and had all the facilities we required. The rooftop terrace was a particular highlight... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
