The hotel was very nice and it is as you see it in the pictures. The people were at all times nice to us. The room was small, but clean. The breakfast had everything you need to start a good day. The wi fi was working better in the lobby. In the room I could make a whatsapp call, but... More

Stayed at this hotel for a week and it was overall a good experience. - the location is the best thing about the hotel. It is in walking distance to sultanahmet (blue mosque, grand bazar etc). We only used the metrocard to go to Taksim otherwise we have been walking to the places. - the hotel is placed on a... More

Very enjoyable stay in this convenient hotel. Upgraded our room and we were delighted with our accommodation. Had a window and door! Plenty of room and it felt as if this room had recently been updated. Very clean throughout the hotel and helpful staff.

I stayed in this hotel from 6 to 10 July ! I chose this hotel by reading the other reviews on Tripadvisor . The hotel it's situated in the centre of European part of Istanbul ... all touristic places are very close :Gran bazar , Aya Sofia ,Blu Mosque , about 10 min walking ) . The hotel it's very... More

The staff here really made the stay memorable. They went out of their way to accommodate my needs including arranging airport transfers and allowing me to keep the room until later in the day as I had an evening flight. Bed was comfortable and the hotel is in a wonderful location being within walking distance to all Istanbul has to... More

We were two parties arriving and leaving at different times. We both paid for double comfort rooms. My husband and I got a "smallish" double comfort room but because my aunt and her daughter got a much "better and fancier" (their words) room I feel I owe the 5 stars to the hotel and staff that go the extra mile... The Hotel is very clean and the beds are comfortable, but the rooms are small, especially 103/203/303/403. There are no views from the windows which is quite normal for hotels in the area. However as a base to explore Istanbul on foot it is a great hotel, being located within walking distance all of the central attractions and surrounded by... More

The hotel we stayed in was so central to all the best sights ie Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basically Cistern, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar and even to get the boat to go on The Bosphorus. Brilliant. The staff are really lovely and most accommodating too. Organised a walking tour for us, told us things to do and where to go.... More

The hotel has excellent location. Walking distance to the whole Sultanahmed area and most of the sites. However the rooms were tiny (we had the comfort one), there was a mold in the shower and the window was litteraly 2 meters from other building so you were looking into a wall. As well there was no blanket at all in... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
