The worst hotel I have ever been. Extraordinary small room, the bathroom was a disaster, the staff doesn't speak english and it is not friendly. We booked with breakfast included and did not eat a single day in the hotel, because was just some stuffy bread, cheese and ham. Very Disappointing. Location is very good.

The staff at the Paradise Hotel are really helpful and the location off Istiklal Street is great with plenty going on and easy access to the Metro. Straight forward accommodation and comfortable rooms. Everything works and is well maintained, which is not always the case in Turkey. The manager speaks enough English and although the other staff only speak Turkish... More

The worst restaurant my friends and I have ever experienced..rude staff, missed dishes, manager absent and then not interested, misleading place with massive over-charging. Nothing about this place is good. It's awful. You have been warned!!

This hotel is better to be avoided. It was not very clean, and the sheets were also dirty. The breakfast (despite being limited to one plate per person prefilled with a couple of slices of cheese) smelled like it was left there for days. It is also very noisy as it is right opposite to a club therefore music was... More

it seems, since it has placed in great location and qunceqintly has enough customer, service is not important for it's manager, during 1 week saty, only 2 times room was cleaned, and all the furniture and service are so old.we found some clean hotels around it with the same price, unfortunaletly so late.

There were unkind staff , who didn't know english Room service really didn't exist and just limited to arrangement of blankets Facilities are limited ,even the refrigerator didn't work and wifi are poor Don't have breakfast there in order to not clean and serving is terrible , recommended exclude breakfast from your room price and eat there anywhere in istiklal... The location is good, for shopping and for nightlife. The nearby tramway, metro and Tünel stations give good connections to other parts of town. Breakfast is good and the rooms are small, but very clean. Also nobody searched our room when we were out, as is common in a couple of other hotels in this street. Prices of hotels are... More

The Location is very good just in Istiklal Street, but the room was very small. Staff are so friendly but they are not speaking english so sometimes its hard to explain what you need. Breakfast is good but the same everyday. Good Hotel if you need to use hotel for sleeping only.

I was staying at Paradise hotel last year during my first trip to Istanbul. A location of the Paradise hotel was just at the end of Istiklal Cadesi that is just in the heart of Taksim area. A great place especially when you're keen on shopping during daylight and going out with friends at night (many great pubs there). It's... More

The staff were very willing to help, but the hotel facilities are limited: rooms are small and wifi internet is weak. However, you can find all you want in this basic hotel, for a very convenient price, relative to the wonderful location in the middle of Istiklal Cadesi. The neighborhood is noisy but very friendly, the music shop below made... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
