when I first saw the room I did not want to stay here, but then I am just going to use it for sleeping. Beds were comfortable, bathroom had basics but very small shower cubicle. Breakfast was in Antioch Hotel opposite, but the food was basic. Staff very friendly and helpful, but some just has rudimentary English more

I have stayed in Antioch hotel for two nights in july. What I can say about this hotel is that is very well located in the ceter of the Town, very very nice personal, basic room, maybe a little disconforting was the fact that it was a twin beds room as I have traveld wiith my wife. I'm not sure who is writing the reviews on this site but they are NOT accurate. The rooms are very basic and that's fine. BUT our carpet is ripped. The shower leaks and floods the bathroom every time you shower. There is tons of black mold in the shower and the bathroom smells musty. The bathroom is so small that... more

I stayed for 5 nights, basic, clean and comfortable, the staff were accomodating and helpful, giving me a good rate and even escorting me on the tram to find the train station to catch a bus ;-)! As a solo female traveller the area felt safe and was a good spot in between sultanahmet and taxsim, all in all good... more

I will agree with the other who has written about this hotel, the most of it. But I will warned other, that don´t rely on the stuff. We nearly missed our flight because of it. They have forgot to order the hotel-car the day before, and we needed transport in the early morning. And because of that we got to... more

The location of the Hatay Hotel is in the old town so it is convenient to most of the tourist sites. However there are many hotels in this area and you may do better to choose one of those. We stayed at the hotel for four nights in late December 2008. The staff were pleasant enough but were not what... more

Hotel is situated in the centre of the old city, tram line, Sirkeci train station, and major attractions such as the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace are a short 5 minute walk away. The staff are friendly. Rooms have a fridge & tv. Shower had hot water [something you need to check... more
