We can strongly recommend Manzara Appartment "Manyuka" because of its beautiful view over Bosporus, really unique enjoying sunset on the terrace observing all the big tankers, ferries and fishing boats.

Very nice, down to earth peoplerent out a couple of appartments in the heart of Istanbul, around the Galata tower. They speak both English and German, a very personal basis. I accidently forgot to give my key for the appartment back and they were very nice about it and make you feel welcome in their city. My appartment was right... More

The best view "MANZARA" in Istanbul is this beautiful apartment Hagia Sofia near to Pera, Galata-Tower. You can enjoy tea from the top of a beautiful old house with a roof top terrace together with friends and the fantastic Hagia Sofia & Blue Mosque; boats are cruising on Bosporus and the only thing that you need to do is "Enjoying".... I arrived on Tuesday evening after becoming ill and severely sleep deprived on a flight, and was eager to get in the arranged ride and off to Manzara Istanbul, where my friend would be waiting for me. Unfortunately when I came out of the baggage area the Manzara representative was nowhere to be seen. I stood there, feeling lost and... More

I stayed at the Roxelena apartment, needing a budget-friendly option for my six day stay in Istanbul. I chose a cheaper option, realizing that it wouldn't have AC but never expecting that not a single fan would be provided in the 90+ degree heat. The bed was lumpy and only a bottom and top sheet of the thinnest materials were... More

The apartment we stayed had a great view. However the terrace was dirty and the light was not working. We didn't bother ourselves to complain about it during our four days stay. Bed covers and towels were changed after our notice if even the new ones also had mildew smell. I guess they just don't dry them well. Also towels... More

The Manzara Apartments are a fabulous place to stay and very reasonable price. They are renovated with care and style--the artwork on the wall is especially well chosen. The staff are kind and very thoughtful: they have considered everything you might need to take the stress out of travel and they provide you with an excellent map of Istanbul and... More

We spent a week in Tatarbey 3 and really enjoyed it for the location, the comfort of the whole apartment and the upstairs terrace. Having the office close by for questions was great, too. Any negatives (the draining of the shower was quirky, not a lot of kitchen equipment) were minor. The Manzara folks were great to deal with, too.

I would like to give these folks a better review, because they did seem concerned about our concerns AFTER we left the city. The Yakamoz 1 apartment is in a great, nontourist location. We loved the area. The apt uses the small space well, bathroom fine, etc., tho' the bed is squeezed into a space with no space on either... More

The Manzara Appartments offer everything you need for a City trip to Istanbul. In addtion, we had an outstanding view over Bosporus, Golden Horn and Topkapi. The location right beside the Galata Tower is perfect for sight seeing trips in the City during the day and spending the evenings (and nights) in the lively Beyoglu partyhood.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
