We stayed 5 nights in this hotel with friends and family. The staff was kind and helpful. Self service breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of jams, yogurt, salads, fruits and bread. Starting the day in the roof-top terrace was really nice. We also found the location very convenient for visiting the city. Overall, a great value hotel.

Great location in a predominantly residential neighborhood yet short walking distance to all of the key sights in Old Istanbul. The premises were clean, the staff was great and always accommodating and the breakfast was supper. I love the roof top deck.

Meet Istanbul and be awed by her jewels, attitude and food. Energy pulsates through her veins and along her arteries run modern trams and traditional wooden carts. She speaks a thousand languages and loves cats.

We had already stayed at the sister hotel, the Marmara in Sultanahmet. The huge self-service breakfasts at both are fabulous - notably the choices of home-made jam - but the Saruhan's was the best. This hotel is a little further out of Sultanahmet, in a more residential district, with great architecture - near the Kucuk Aya Sophia - and the... More

The staff speaks excellent English and is incredibly helpful. My room was truly lovely with a little balcony. I came in one afternoon and 2 doves were sitting on the railing. Breakfast is on the roof terrace with a view of the Sea of Marmara. The hotel is located in a charming old neighborhood but easy walking distance to the... More

This is a small simple place, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast is served on a roof top terrace that provides views to the Bosphorus, whilst basic it is tasty and better than many other place we have encountered whilst in Turkey

This is a nice little hotel with an excellent staff, comfortable, charming rooms and great location. It's a little bit away from the main tourist street but in easy walking distance of good, small cafes and major tourist attractions. (It was nice to be just a tiny bit off the main tourist path.) It's right near one of the important... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel three times during our six week stay in Turkey. Each time was excellent and we would definitely stay there again. There was a wonderful breakfast and it was so relaxing sitting outside watching the ships in the Sea of Marama.

We caught a taxi from the bus station to the hotel and we are glad we did as otherwise we would have been completely lost. Even the taxi driver had trouble. However once at the hotel and after a short walk around the area, we felt completely at home. Located about 10 minutes behind the Blue Mosque in the Sultanahmet... More
