I and my friend stayed here for four nights. It is situated at the best location. The area around is completely happening 24hrs. shopping places are 5 mins aways and tourist places of istanbul are connected through trams and metros. Good information available at the reception. Staff is helpful.

Stayed there for three nights before attending a conference at another hotel in Istanbul. The location was perfect with walking distance to many of the attractions in the area. At least to the nearest tram stop. The hotel was ok but a bit worn out. Cleaning could also have been better. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. The area was... More

It is a nice hotel with good size rooms. With minibar , good wifi , near to istiklal st (around 150 m) , near to shishane metro station , 7-10 min walking to taksim sq, easy to reach historical places and very helpful staff. Thanks for every thing. I think the breakfast could be much better.

The place is perfect for those who want to do some sightseeing, shopping and basically anything which involves enjoying the Istanbul itself!! The staff were friendly and were very helpful when asked how to reach a certain place, the only thing this place was missing better breakfast but I'm not complaining after all 50$ per night sounds like just enough... I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in June 2014. Location was great; just a step away from restaurants, bars and shopping. Easy to get to both Taksim Square and the harbours by foot. The staff were very nice, helpful and welcoming, and they spoke good English. So far, so good and I had a great stay! However, the... More

Qute little hotel, spacious rooms, friendly staff, firm and confortable beds. On the bad side, brakfast is tiresomly boring, unreplenished cooler with juices. Generaly good value for money. We are comending it because of its location, close to Istiklal St. Shishane Sub station, and Galata Tower(5 min walking distance).

Perfect location, very close to Istiklal street. Family room was very small. Breakfast is an issue for vegetarians. No lights inside shower room. WiFi was very weak inside rooms. Lots of cafes & restaurants around hence very noisy till late night.

Standard mid-range hotel in Pera. Great location just a block off of Istiklal Avenue with several bars and restaurants nearby, caveat that the streets are not well-marked in Istanbul and it's easy to get lost. The rooms are a bit dated but adequate, though the glow-in-the-dark star stickers on the ceiling and the neon-blue backlit mirror in the room were... More

Hotel condition was good. Room and bathroom was clean everyday. Hotel staff was good and helpful. Location of hotel was very near to the istiklal caddesi and taksim square. Some poor things about this hotel was the WiFi coverage is not consistently good when I stayed in the room. Sometimes it's ok and sometimes it was unable to connect. Another... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
