I stayed in Eterno Boutique hotel for 3 nights. The location of the hotel is in the heart of Istanbul very near the Taksim square and in the valley that you can find lots of restaurants and supermarkets around. By some minutes walk you can reach Taksim square where you can find everything from clothing to traditional food. Hotel staff... More

This hotel is walking distance from Gezi park and it is perfect. Easily reachable from the airport by the underground, this hotel is moments away from the Istiklal. However the hotel itself it is not as perfect as its location. As long as we got in we released that it is not exactly what we saw in the pictures. They... More

I was there 10 days ago, with my wife for business matters. A variety of restaurants are available near the hotel and Taksim Square. Good points: Good location, acceptable breakfast Negative points: Staff are not polite, very small rooms, old TV,

The hotel is a short distance from the heart of Istanbul (Taksim) away and the staff is nice and polite, but the rooms are extremely small, so it is hard for you to breathe. Bathing in this hotel as it is very difficult to forget bathing.

Location was good but our room was small and very cold. Reception was not responsible, especially at night. He was not polite. Several patient people were at hotel, every where, at lobby and restaurant..

Great hotel, close to the Istiklal avenue, clean rooms, good service, a bit spartan but more than adequate. Strong point again is the location. If you are planning on having a breakfast better go early. The later you go the less you find to eat.

I was in hotel in may 2012. Rooms are very clean, without any view, breakfast can be better (to simple),but the locatin is great. Hotel is 5 minutes from main Istanbul street (Istiklal), and square Taksim.Near hotel are lots of restaurants and bars. I reccomend it for a few days stay in Istanbul.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
