This hotel is gem. The front desk management booked us at all the great restaurants in Istanbul and attended to our every need. The location is great because it isn't too touristy but it is in the hip artists area and near the Bosphorous. They also booked us a stellar guide for the old historical section of town. The breakfast... More

Witt Istanbul Suite has totally unobstructed, breathtaking panoramic Harbour and city views as its perched on the hill overlooking the museum and minarets. This butik hotel has definitely got a magnificent view and outlook. The view is the most impressive aspect, and you never tire of looking at it. The best time is during dust, have a glass of rosè,... Having never been to Istanbul before we asked the hotel staff to organize a car to pick us up from the airport. Arriving in an unfamiliar airport and country it was reassuring to see a well attired friendly man holding a card with my partner's name on it. A good start for our holiday in Turkey. We arrived at the... More

We stayed here for 3 nights last week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The welcome drinks on arrival was a nice touch and the rooms were perfect. The hotel is situated and the top of an incredibly steep road so probably wouldn't suit elderly or disabled people however we found the hill a good challenge and a way of working... More

What an oasis - great quiet location with easy access to the tram system, the most helpful staff I have ever encountered and the most fabulous room!!! We were upgraded to the penthouse and had sweeping views over the old city and river. The stylish and sophisticated accommodation is well matched by the tireless staff who go out of their... More

We were picked up at the airport and driven to the hotel. On arrival we were met by very friendly staff who took the time to explain the hotel, the area around the hotel and how things worked in general in Istanbul - tram, water transport etc while being served welcome drinks. We had lost luggage and they helped with... More

In 30 years on the road I have NEVER had the care and attention that we received from the hotel team in Witt Suites on any brand level. It started with the booking questions and the immediate feedback. The crystal clear detail on the pick up. The attentive calls "all ok". The calm unhurried check in. The knowledge and care... More

Our stay here was incredible from the incredibly hospitable service, amazing views, delicious breakfast & luxurious comfort, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect way to spend our 10 year anniversary. Aykut was tremendously accomodating and went out of his way to make sure we had a lovely stay. I am dreaming of the next time I get to... More

A fantastic hotel all round: perfect location, excellent service, fast wifi, beautiful spacious rooms that are actually functional! Love the roof top garden and the panoramic views. We spent every night there, sipping champers and taking in the views. Please don't spoil it by bringing your children there.

Four Seasons, Kempinski, Ritz = amazing location and 'awe'... BUT walk dozens of yards to your room and pass tons of people before finding tranquility VERSUS a few steps to your room passing a personal welcome in an inviting space to relax... that being the Witt. Rooms at the Witt ask nothing of a grand hotel room in design and... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
