Perfect location, within walking to everything in old city......Rooftop is fabulous, breakfast in restaurant is great with good choices, the view from the top is perfect. Rooms on small side, but they gave us a corner room, 402, which had a wonderful view, could see the Golden Horn and one of the bridges, even the shower had a big window... More

We spent five nights here and enjoyed it thoroughly. The hotel is very centrally located, with magnificent views of the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque from the rooftop restaurant and terrace. The included breakfast was excellent, the room clean and comfortable, the staff pleasant and helpful. Can't say enough good about it.

Found this hotel by accident on lastminute.com. It is in a superb location in the old city and from the roof top terrace you can see Aya Sophia and the Blue Mosque close by, as well as views over the sea and Bosphorus so that to have a meal or drink on the roof was a delight. The staff were... More

This hotel is in the heart of the Old City. From the rooftop restaurant you can see across the Golden Horn in one direction and have great views of the roofs of the Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace - which makes breakfast rather nice. Also, all the sights of the Old City are just a short walk... More

The best thing about the Adamar is its location. It is only steps away from the Basilica Cistern, restaurants and other historical sites of Istanbul. There's also a free breakfast buffet and free wifi included within the price of the room. Rooms are very clean and the staff polite. I didn't feel like the experience merited 4 stars but it... More

For some of the time I was staying at the Adamar I was on my own and was always treated with unfailing friendliness and courtesy. Halil and his colleagues were never too busy to answer questions and make suggestions as to where to eat and what to visit, The room was small but comfortable and clean and the views from... More

What a location! Right in the heart of Sultan Ahmet (but surprisingly quiet). The room itself was quite nice but fairly small. All the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Probably the best thing about Adamar is the amazing rooftop restaurant. The food is nice but it is the scenery that is mind blowing. Basically a 360 degree... More

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience during our stay last week at the Adamar. All the staff members (special thanks to Halil, Mehmet, and their colleagues) were impeccable - polite, helpful, respectful, and warmly hospitable. The room was clean, lovely, and roomy. Not too big or small for us and very comfortable. Above all, the rooftop view is... More
