We spent 2 days in Istanbul and were very happy with the location of the Adamar Hotel - close to all the sights in the old city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and functional. An added bonus is the rooftop restaurant / drinks venue with beautiful views of the Blue Mosque and Aya... More

We were 2 couples finishing up a cruise with 2 days in Istanbul. Hotel was charming - complete with spiral staircase. Room2 were small (typical European) but comfortable, as was the bathroom (although face cloths would have been nice). A/C worked well. Had no trouble sleeping even being at the corner of 2 busy streets. Front desk staff was friendly... More

It is in the heart of the old city so all major sights are within easy walking distance. The rooftop restaurant has a magnificent view ofthe Ayasofia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi palace and the Bosphorus. Clean basic comfortable accommodation. Could do with extra amenities like a kettle and coffee and tea but this is not standard practice in Europe so... More

The goods: Hotel its in excelent location. Walking distance to everything, tons of restaurants, cafes, you just name it and its nearby. The other nice thing was the views from the terrace and restaurant. Staff was very friendly! Bad: One tiny, small elevator that fits 4 people for the whole building, runs really slow. Otherwise take the spiral staircase...Breakfast was... More

My husband and I spent 8 nights at Adamar hotel in June 2015. Everything was perfect: location, service, breakfast! Adamar´s people are very kind, nice, and always offer their help to surfing the city. The terrace, where you can take a drink, coffee or dinner, offers a panoramic and spectacular view. Jalil, the manager, is a pleasant and very professional... More

We had an excellent stay at Adamar for 4 nights end of May and early June. The staff was very very helpful, the rooms were clean and neat. The breakfast buffet had a great spread and amazing views of the Hagia Sophia and Blue mosque. The best part is the location of the hotel all the key touristy sites are... More

What a great place! Not only is it within walking distance to the Grand Bazzar, but also to the Blue Mosque, Spice Market, Turkish baths and tons of other stuff. The people in Istanbul were fabulous, friendly and wonderful. The hotel staff is accommodating and the roof top restaurant boasts a view in the evening like no other. Loved staying... More

The Adamar is an ideal for mid-range and clean hotel. The location is perfect for the old part of the city, the view from the panoramic top restaurant couldn't be better and the friendly service from all the staff was outstanding. Unless you are looking for a 5 star nearer hotel, I would highly recommend the Adamar and would stay... More

Just perfect hotel in Istanbul! Right in the middle of the old city. All places of interest just walking distance. Fantastic rooftop restaurant for dinner and a sixth floor glass walls restaurant for breakfast. Both places give breathtaking views of Istanbul landmark areas. WiFi is free and works well. Hotel and restaurants staff are ever so welcoming. I would certainly... More
