Stayed here for 3 nights following a cruise. The location cannot be beat. The staff was unbelievably helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was substantial and tasty. The rooftop with its panoramic view was an oasis after a day of sightseeing.

It's really easy for reviews on Tripadvisor to get inflated; this is not one of those cases. Adamar honestly is a excellent hotel. My husband and I stayed five nights at the Adamar in July 2014. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again, and highly recommend it to anyone looking to vacation in Istanbul. The location is fantastic. It's... More

This is a lovely small boutique hotel in the heart of the old town. it is centrally located to all points of interest like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and main shopping areas. On the hotel itself, the staff are their most valuable asset. They could not be more helpful, considerate, yet non intrusive. The rooftop is the ideal place... More

We had four nights at Adamar and they were wonderful - a second honeymoon. We were welcomed with cold fruit juice and old-fashioned hospitality - they carried our bags to the room. We picked the lowest price room - a corner room 201 - and it was compact. But we were outside seeing the sights so didn't mind as we... More

We had the time of our lives in Istanbul and Adamar Hotel was the perfect base and location for our trip. We had a blue corner room which was lovely and a decent size for 2. Though noisy in the day with beeping taxi driver's below, the evenings and nights were nice and quiet. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The... More

Perfect location, within walking to everything in old city......Rooftop is fabulous, breakfast in restaurant is great with good choices, the view from the top is perfect. Rooms on small side, but they gave us a corner room, 402, which had a wonderful view, could see the Golden Horn and one of the bridges, even the shower had a big window... More

We spent five nights here and enjoyed it thoroughly. The hotel is very centrally located, with magnificent views of the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque from the rooftop restaurant and terrace. The included breakfast was excellent, the room clean and comfortable, the staff pleasant and helpful. Can't say enough good about it.

Found this hotel by accident on lastminute.com. It is in a superb location in the old city and from the roof top terrace you can see Aya Sophia and the Blue Mosque close by, as well as views over the sea and Bosphorus so that to have a meal or drink on the roof was a delight. The staff were... More

This hotel is in the heart of the Old City. From the rooftop restaurant you can see across the Golden Horn in one direction and have great views of the roofs of the Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace - which makes breakfast rather nice. Also, all the sights of the Old City are just a short walk... More
