I can not imagine how someone gives it more then 1 or 2 points. the location is very good and this conclude everything good about this property. rooms are tiny (we had 4 rooms), our bath was constantly smelling like cigarettes smoke. the room itself is tiny and before moving us it was even worse. 4 stars for this place... The web site and location are the best things about this hotel. It is not really a 4* more a 3* but is adjacent to the major sites of interest in Istanbul. We arrived mid evening to be allocated a room on the 1st floor which is really the basement. it was awful with a window 9 feet off the... More

I stayed 4 nights in February 2013. The hotel is well positioned with lots of cafes and restaurant up and down the street. There was no plug in the sink and no bath and I was unable to wash any clothes. Exorbitant rates was laundry but I was fortunate to find an express laundry in a short distance. When leaving... More

We stayed here in early November and loved it. We had a room away from the street because some reviews said the street noise kept them awake which is true, the streets are noisey all the time. It's close to EVERYTHING which is the best part about this hotel. The rooms aren't that great but hey, you're in Istanbul so... More

Beautiful hotel in the old town. A short stroll from The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and Topkapi Palace. Considering the location, rooms expect to be small, but we had plenty of space. Oh, and tasty buffet breakfast every morning. Would recommend to anyone, especially with the deal we got through europeandestinations.com.

The hotel is just 3 minutes walking from Blue Mosque and very close to all central sites. Rooms are very cosy and clean. Breakfast is good, but not excellent - you could find cereals, yogurts, dried fruits, cheese and sausage, but that's pretty enough. I've stayed on the 2nd floor and that was the only one inconvinience - all guests... More

Jusr returned on Sunday 17th. Great hotel literally minutes from all the sites. Baran and all the staff very friendly and helpful. Make sure you visit the terrace restaurant for a fantastic view over the Bosphorus and lovely food. Room comfortable, clean and mini bar prices so cheap!

The trip was a long weekend first time in Turkey and we wanted to see the usual sites and get some specialist herbs and spices for cooking and medical use. Location was great and we could walk to the main attractions in about 5 minutes, eat in the area oposite from the blue mosque on the slopes down to the... More
