What a fantastic hotel. We had a view of the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia from our balcony, and from the roof terrace we could not only see the city but also the many large ships moored out to sea and the Princes Islands in the distance. The service in the hotel was superb - efficient, friendly and helpful.... more

If you go to Istanbul (which you have to do), and you have never seen the sights, then this is an absolutely ideal place to stay - the hospitality is warm and the level of service is of a high standard with plenty of gracious smiles and greetings as you come and go. We had a lovely room with a... more

Hotel offers you all what you need: decent room with clean bathroom and an extensive breakfast. The location is super: very close to the most important buildings and very close to many good restaurants. The people working in the hotel are very helpful. more

We were a group of 10 classmates - who for our 30'th anniversary decided to go to Istanbul for a 4 days stay. The Byzantium hotel was picked due to the perfect location - within walking distance to the major sights. Everything started out fine with the free pick-up service - which got us to the hotel without delay (except... more

The Byzantium Hotel meet and exceeded all of our expectations. We had requested the free pick-up at the airport, but we arrived around 1:30 in the morning and were somewhat skeptical. We were very pleased to see someone holding a sign with our name who whisked us to the hotel. The location was perfect, easy walking distance to the major sights,... more

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Most of them even knew English. The room was very nice and clean. It was also a decent size for being in Istanbul. Our room had a window with french doors that opened up to a breathtaking view of... more

High marks. This location is just below the Blue Mosque, narrow cobblestone streets with open air restaurants and cafes. The hotel is smaller, but clean and relatively newly renovated. Value for cost was excellent. It is one block from this mamoth four seasons which is like some ridiculous rate per night. The service was very good. I loved their rooftop.... more

All the staff were really helpful and friendly. Melissa in particular provided us with good advice. The hotel is in an excellent central location just a few minutes from the Blue Mosque and with lots of restaurants just outside. There is also a roof terrace with really beautiful views. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. more

the staff were very helpful and knowledgable. they always had a smile on their face no matter how many times you asked them something!! Melisa was sweet and I think she shoud get a raise in pay !! she goes "the extra mile" as we say in Canada. I would stay there again - in a minute more
