We spent two nights here and it was perfect for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was hospitable, the location was fantastic and the breakfast was wonderful! They only downsides, which I didn't mind at all, were: there are a lot of stairs, and you can hear the muezzin calling the faithful to prayers. On the other... More

I and My wife had a great time in Best Point Hotel. The most lovely part is the breakfast. You can have your meal in the morning with sun rising up and enjoy the turkish breakfast. The front office guy was super helpful, nice. Always smiling at you that you will never forget his face. Thank you

The hotel is clean, and the staff is very friendly: suggesting how to plan your trip in istanbul with their inside information. Also: they arranged an airport shuttle just moments before my flight in Amsterdam departed. Driver was waiting in Atatürk to bring us to the hotel.

Best Point hotel is very well located in the historical center - a walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Cistern, and you can also walk to the Grand Bazaar. Public transportation available also in a walking distance. Great offer of restaurants nearby

I booked this hotel based on traveler reviews. We did book through them directly as they offer a discount and free airport shuttle for those staying more than 5 nights. We were a family of 7 traveling three kids And four adults. We were in a building away from the main one which wasn't a problem. It was a short... More

I have spent five nights with my wife and son in December, the staff are very kind, helpful and friendly. Their English is excellent. The hotel itself is an old building with 4 floors but unfortunately it doesn't have an elevator which makes it very difficult for old people. The breakfast is served on the 4th floor, it is not... We spent three nights in the Best Point Hotel but we should've stayed longer! The hotel has all the amenities including private steam rooms in the suites. Breakfast is served with an amazing view over the water and from the terrace you can see the Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque making the location ideal for travelers wanting to be close... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
