Great little place. The night manager Abdullah was wonderful and charming, and we became friends by the end of the stay. AFter a disagreement about a small issue, he called in to the restaurant where I was having dinner with friends and sent me an apology note penned in chocolate and free dessert. Very cute. All of the staff was... More

The service was wonderful! Receptionist and wait staff (Abottin) on the 6th floor were very freindly! Really close to Hagia Sofia, blue mosque and the gran bazar. Rooms are simple, small but functional.

From what I could search, for the price paid, this is a typical hotel in central Istanbul. Which is, small dimension building, small bedrooms, but, overall, functional. That sums up my opinion of this hotel. It was a small room, but clean and the bathroom was enough spacious. The staff were very warm and helpful. The breakfast was good and... More

A good reasonably priced small hotel just a few blocks from the main metro line at the Grand Bazaar stop. Easy access to the bazaar, restaurants, Blue Mosque, etc. The staff were very efficient & helpful. Good but limited breakfast, somewhat loud streets below. However what made this a pleasant 3 night stay was the staff. Abdullah (Apo) was our... More

First of all construction (very noisy) in front of the hotel from 9am to 7pm. Room very small and TV = ipad screen with bad resolution! Air conditioning very dusty and very poor wifi. Staff are hypocrite and not helpful if you ask for something other than their suggested trips which are very expensive. They are trying to make money... More

Small room but clean and comfortable, great service, good breakfast, about 5 min walking to the principal historical buildings, Santa Sofia, Blue Mosque, Gran Bazar, Spice Market. Can get shuttle service to airport for 5 Euro per person. Abdullah (front desk ) excellent customer service, he booked all the tours for us.

It was my first time in Turkey and I was intimidated at first, but the staff of this hotel make us feel like home. Excellent service, very clean. Abdullah was helpful and down to earth guy as everyone else at the hotel. They kept asking us if we wanted coffee and tea all the time. The terrace is cozy and... More

The Kupeli Hotel is in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. A lot of the major sites are less than a 10 minute walk away. The hotel was clean. The staff was great. Abdullah and Almidit were awesome. We booked excursions before our arrival and if something could go wrong it did. These two helped us with the companies and checked... More

Istanbul can be quite intimidating at first. I've been to countries with aggressive drivers but never aggressive pedestrians. But I liked this hotel because I could walk to all the big sites and it was very close to a tram line that could take us to the ferry pretty quickly, and off to Asia. Taking a ferry to Asia is...
