I styed for one night during July 2014 as I had to visit some popular tourist areas in Istanbul during my business trip and after search around the Sultanahmet district I found this budget hotel nicely located in the middle of all attractions (Blue mosque, Aya Sofia, Grand Baazar, and Tram station). The hotel is a budget hotel where you... More

Think hostel not hotel. Very cheap and serves its purpose, not advisable for family s but I would say ok for bag packers. Make sure you stick to your guns when paying remainder of the bill when you arrive they tried to apply an additional 10% to ours followed by 10 minutes of faff whilst he 'looked' for the discrepancy

The location of the hotel is perfect, it is within walking distance to all places of interest; Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, Topakapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar and much more. The night staff were more than helpful, they couldn't do enough for us and made us feel most welcome. A nice typical Turkish breakfast was provided but apart from that... More

It was very convenient as the hotel is in the heart of Sultanahmet, a walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Topkapi, Aya Sophia and other interesting places such as the Grand Bazaar. The room was basic but clean and the staff was hospitable.

If you are looking for less value for your money, Aquarium Hotel may be your choice! Okay, there are some positive aspects: it's located in the vicinity of the most important sights of Istanbul and the staff seeks to help you (within the limits of their possibilities). BUT: the room was tiny, dirty, without nearly any storage room, there was... More

The hotel is very close to all the touristical attractions in the old part of the city, it is perfect. You can walk around and feel completely safe to explore Istanbul. The staff is very nice and always ready to help in any way they can. The room was small, but comfortable and clean. I traveled with my mother and... More

I strongly recommend to everyone to avoid this "hotel". All posted photos of the hotel rooms are fake. Small room, small and dirty bathroom, no TV, old and broken furniture, poor breakfast, no view at all, poor wireless signal, communication with hotel stuff is very difficult and cleaning of room didn't exist. Despite our pre-arrival discution about the price of... More

Staff is very helpeful, however their English is not that good. Breakfast is good enough to handle all morning, you can find the typical food in Turkey... Also they served us before in the morning as we were having the flight very early. Bathroom is not very clean, you can see also some damage inside the shower... Bedrooms are good... More

The hotel's website promises "spectacular views from our rooftop terrace" - it doesn't exist! Location is close to the main tourist sites e.g. Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Underground Cisterns and the bazaar and it's cheap for single occupancy of double room with comfy bed and aircon. But maintenance is poor with dodgy plumbing and electrical fittings. Thin, poorly... More

I stayed accidentaly on this hotel in September 2012. I don't have words to describe the hotel. I suppose that it should be shut down by the authorities for a number of hygiene and safety regulations. We arrived at nightthere sincethe hotel we initially booked had been shut down. The travel agent booked there without asking us. First impresion was... More
