We spent a great time with a lot of memorable moments, strongly recommended for couples and who enjoys from a great view of Istanbul. It is really near to city center, metro station and historical places. You don't need to pay much for taxi. As last word, you will enjoy of their respectful stuffs.

The staff was awesome and welcomed us with a little cake because of our birthdays that month. Breakfast was decent, room was good size and bed was very comfortable. The hotel is like 3-5 mins walk to the Metro station or the Funicular, which will stop at Kabata and then you can take the metro to Sultanahmet, which is the... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in June. It was our first trip to Istanbul and we didn't know what to expect. This hotel was in a great location and the staff were extremely helpful. My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at the end of June. The first thing I have to say, is that EVERY SINGLE PERSON at the front office is absolutely a delight. Taxis, reservations, recommendations, tour bookings, medical help.....everything was offered with a warm smile and whole hearted hospitality! They even reminded us several times to keep the hotel... My wife and I spent 6 nights at the Gezi hotel for our honeymoon and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very clean, the design is modern and luxurious. We opted for the sea view room, so our tenth floor room gave us a beautiful view of the bosphorous which was worth the stay alone. The marbled decor, touch... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
