I don't recommand this hotel.I went to Istanbul at the end of December and beginning of January .It was the third time l visited Istanbul. But this time was special because l wanted to spend the new year there. Of course before my departure date I arranged everything including the booking of a room in a hotel . I went to... More

I think when you decide to book a 3 stars hotel, you can't expect it to be a super deluxe one. Rooms are a bit small, the elevator makes a big sound so u can hear it from your room clearly. The breakfast isn't that good. But on the other hand, staff are very helpful. They did arrange everything I... More

The location was perfect as it is located within the old city with tram stop only few minutes walk from hotel. The room was small but okey for a single traveler like me. The room soundproofing is horrible (in my room in the 3rd floor) as i could clearly hear the coversations and banging of doors outside/ hallways and vice... More

The rooms were rather too small and absolutely stifling. The aircon was merely a fan and so it was difficult to sleep at night. The staff in the main are lovely and keep the hotel very clean. However on the Sunday of our stay when we went to the pool an insolent young member of staff working behind the bar... More

I stayed in this hotel for four days, and it was a good experience: - The rooms are medium but very clean (but stay away from room 407) - There is a TV and a safe but no Kettle, no Nescafe or tea etc.. (we asked for a kettle and we got one) - The beds are comfortable - The... More

I stayed at Laleli Gonen Hotel 3 nights, and was super ok. The rooms clean ( in the bathroom the shower part was big ) , the breakfast various, staff very friendly, and the location in the centre of commercial area, just 3 tram station from Sultanahmet. And the price was decent. I recomanded this hotel

We stayed at Laleli Gonen Hotel for 2 nights on the New Year's Eve.I have to say that the hotel is decent for Istanbul, the room was clean and so was the bathroom, the only inconvenience that we had was that our rooms didn't have any windows as they were at the last floor. The breakfast was ok but the main reason why... I stayed there at a stopover from Turkish airlines. I mean it was a complimentary transit hotel. And it was great. I dind't know that Turkish would give me a transit hotel, but this hotel was better than I expected. The breakfast was ok with many variety kind of foods. I really don't remember how much it cost to go... More

Arrived at hotel late (as advised on original booking) and found that the hotel was overbooked! We got shoved into a nearby hotel (Eyfel) : awful! Was asked to return at breakfast next morning where excuse given was now that of a delayed flight. Shown to room which was ok. Bathroom tiny. My other half couldn't stand up in the... More
