Good, centrally-located business hotel (my husband and I were on a Silk Road tour, though). Our standard room was on the smallish side, but perfectly clean and pleasantly-furnished. Nice breakfast buffet and decent dinner (with different kinds of excellent bread). The reception staff was efficient but hardly friendly. Overall, our two nights at the Tashkent Dedeman were a rather positive... more

Tashkent has apparently overbuilt hotels, so the organizers of the conference at Dedeman's negotiated a great room rate, including the ample Turkish breakfast. Always suspicious that a low price equals dysfunctional accommodation, I was pleasantly surprised. As described by other reviewers, the rooms are modest but fully functional, clean and comfortable. I appreciated that there was both thermostat-controlled air conditioning... more

We stayed here on two separate nights during our trip. The rooms were clean, with decent bathrooms which was very helpful. On our first stay, though, the entire hair dryer (supposed to be fixed to the wall) was ripped out... Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was nice. The restaurant faces the street so you get good view. The best thing... more

Overall the most comfortable hotel of 8 we stayed in during a Central Asia tour. Unusually for this part of the world credit cards are readily accepted. The bedroom was quite spacious and well furnished with comfortable beds, satellite tv and safe. The decor was plain but pleasant. With the outside temperature in the 40s (centigrade) the aircon thankfully worked... more

I stayed for 5 nights and it was alright. My room was rather small and quite noisy as it was at the front of the hotel overlooking the road. It was clean but there is no evening turn-down service. The free internet access from the room or in the Business Centre is a plus. The quality of the food at... more

We stayed here prior to joining a tour of the Silk Road. It was one of the nicest hotels we experienced in Central Asia. Well located in the new part of the city, easy access to the Metro and local bazaar. Rooms were well equiped. They offered nice pool and health club area with a complete workout facility. Great breakfast... more

Hotel Dedeman is the best Hotel in Tashkent if you are looking at both quality and price. The rooms there are just as nice and comfortable as at the Intercon, Meridian or Sheraton (or what used to be the Sheraton, as the company pulled their name from that property. Its called the Tashkent Hotel now). The Dedeman has a nice... more
