I usually stay in this hotel as it is the best for its value. Nissa and Oguzkent is very expensive. Breakfast and restaurant is very good. It is Italian as their manager Luigi who has been running the business for many years. Hotel was built by French and glamorous first years. nowadays it is getting old but still in good... More

As always say, the comparing is between the hotels in its city not the other countries so when we say it good, it means good in Ashgabat. Hotel is located in Archbil St. which is far from city center but some governmental buildings is in it. the street has a good view especially in night but if you want go... More

It is very difficult to prepare yourself for the city of Ashgabat. With only the power that rests in a single "strong" leader, the whole city has been swept away in the last 20 years, and replaced with white marble tower blocks - I jest not, all of white marble. Then add in the fact that you will see few... More

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and so was this city. And by the way, it is very safe. The furniture in our room was gorgeous. It was large and we had a marvelous view of this white marble city at night. We never expected what we saw and experienced. We would go back there in a second. I can't imagine... More

Looks like skyscraper with classic style inside. Located away from city center. Standard room was clean with ordinary ficilities. People are friendly. Internet connection chargeble and slow. Bar and restaurant are good and not so expensive.

This is quite a grand hotel but definitely has its idiosyncrasies, one of which is that there didn’t seem to be any bellboys to help with luggage. I may have been missing something here but we stayed in the hotel on two occasions and both times we carried our own luggage up to the room. That being said, the reception... More

Located a bit outside of town, the President hotel is a 16 storeys tower build by the former president Niazov and managed by a close Italian friend. Build with luxury but with obviously little maintenance, therefore likely to prematurely fall apart. Nice terrace, swimming pool, sauna, etc. Slow Internet access only in the lobby, sometimes on the 16th floor. Good... More

We stayed at this hotel for four days. It is newly built hotel (as everything in the city). Located 30 minutes from airport and 15 minutes drive from city center. Really there is nothing around the hotel within walking distance. You can stop gipsy taxi and get to any place in the city for 5 manat (2,8 manat for 1... More

I had no choice, as this was a conference venue. The staff are unfriendly, the facilities lack maintenance and are out of date. The conference room is miserable, the computer could not support Powerpoint attached to projector. The projector bulb was almost dead and they had no replacement. The light switch was not in the conference room, but 25 meters... More
