Where do I begin? The bathroom built for a king, large and well equipped room, a laptop, iPod , fax machine, free wifi , lovely bath tub and on and on... Casa Colombo is an old manor converted to a 12 room boutique hotel. A combination of the luxury of British raj days with modern amenities make this a memorable... More

We loved it. Not sure on immediate arrival but it grows on you very quickly, the rooms are fantastically over the top. The pool area is good, the food lovely. Tapas lunch menu was very good. Arrun looked after us very well, thoroughly recommend for a stop over stay in Colombo, we stayed 2 nights. Piped music was brilliant!

We stayed here 3 nights and I have to say the warm welcome, extremely helpful staff blew me and my partner away. The old building has a lot of charm and the modern design touches make this a unique boutique hotel. A special thanks to Arun! He took such great care of us. I felt like I was staying at... More

To start with the look and feel of Casa is superb. The decor is beautiful and tastefully arranged. The staff were very friendly and even surprised us with an impeccable turndown service as we walked into a candle lit hotel room with flower petals scattered throughout. We enjoyed the western and traditional meals. The food was good quality and tasted... More

Stayed here during the first week of October for one night. Really nice place. Guyan was our butler and he did an excellent job. Our server at dinner was Anzar and he made some excellent suggestions. Shareef was the executive chef and he created a culinary beauty for us. The slow roasted beef is a spicy jaggery sauce was fantastic.... More

We stayed here for 1night on route to the south following our extensive flying schedule. The hotel is quite a welcome sight being secluded enough to think you are if a different place away from the choas of colombo at busy times. The superb design of the garden and entrance lobby coupled with the colonial look of the external makes... More

Only 1 night here as we arrived from the airport in pouring rain. A warm welcome and an odd but perfectly acceptable room in this renovated beautiful old building. The service was top class throughout and the meal we had was really good.

So we arrived at casa colombo on Friday with high expectations after reviews on here and the website. Looks as they say can be deceptive. We arrived to a party being set up for a local radio station who had hired every room out except for ours. The party was to go on until 4am...the butler asked if we had... More

Casa Colombo is symbolic of all that is energetic, trendy and modern about Sri Lanka, bringing together ultra-contemporary design with a hip restaurant, bar/lounge, pool and a dozen rooms. The hotel is tucked away off a main thoroughfare, converted from an old colonial villa – as far as I could tell, this is Colombo’s take on Ian Shrager’s original boutique... More
