I like to keep this short. I have now tried all the top hotels in town and this is, together with the Hilton, my favorite! (see my reviews of the Cinnamon Grand, Gall Face and Hilton). So before the Hilton will be completely refurbished, Cinnamon Lakeside is presumably the best place in town – at least for the business traveler.

My 5th visit to Lakeside, but still equal impressed with the hotel in general, the rooms, restaurants, hospitality, the gym, and all the staff. My preferred choice also for my next stay in Colombo. Special greetings to Giram, the portier with a unique friendly and professional attitude!

we entered the hotel and got greeted by welcome drinks. fruits and chocolates were available in the room. staff was very friendly, spoke english and gave us FREE WIFI! our room had a view of the lake which was grand! will highly recommend this to anyone!
