This is a good Hotel in Colombo with a beautiful outdoor/pool area on the lake and a lovely refurbished foyer. The room that we stayed in hadn't been refurbished but it was still roomy and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was pretty good - although seating was limited. All in all a good hotel. more

Very good hotel. Good rooms, Excellent food. Good location. I felt the bathroom size could have been bigger. There was no Neo sports in the TV. Else everything is great about this hotel. They played some amazing music in the night I stayed there. They also arranged for a Srilankan art form show for our group. Overall an amazing experience. more

Spent only just over 12 hours here. Lovely, spacious room and en-suite. Not far from the sea - we took a tuk-tuk there, had a couple of drinks at the Galle Face Hotel then walked back to the Trans-Asia (as it was then called). Everything is fine except that the Indian Restaurant is only North Indian and the vegetarian choice is very limited. There is better choice at the Breakfast Buffet. more
Nothing special. Not so good but not that bad. A very ordinary establishment with a swimming pool. Perhaps not worth the money. more
