i travelled to Colombo for a friends wedding which was held in the Galle Face Hotel, naturally we stayed there too. all i can say is what an immense hotel. the Regency wing where we stayed was perfect with a stunning room/balcony/jacuzzi/sea view, the spa was very good, the food was exceptional and the staff very helpful. more

I phoned and booked and was advised to stay in a Classic Suite, because we had 2 children with us. Room had lots of lovely classic wooden furniture, and was massive.......BUT.......come around 6.00pm the music started in a wedding 2 floors down.
