We stayed there for the final days of the mongol rally. The staff is just overwhelming. The rooms are clean sweet and everything you could ask for. The wellness sauna area is ok but more basic. I've seen a lot of hotels but this one is worth every dime. The breakfast buffet serves everything you need. Go for it

Stayed there in November, while attending a conference. Room are ok with good size bed and descent bathroom. As mentioned by others toothpaste and water is not free. For the rest, except the brand new swimming pool and fitness that are great, everything looks bit outdated. The Chinese restaurant downstairs is overpriced, like almost everything in the hotel. There is... More

First of all, if I had booked through the hotel website I would have paid more than double what I paid by using an internet booking coordinator. $2400 USD v $1085 USD. Be sure to "shop" for best price. I stayed 7 nights in a small suite. It was very comfortable, with new furnishings, fresh décor and plenty of hangars... More

I stayed in this hotel last June, three months ago. Basically, service and facilities remain the same except that bottled water, a toothbrush and toothpaste are no longer free. This time a Mongolian friend of mine took me to the nearby Ukrainian restaurant, so close to the hotel that it took only a few minutes on foot. The restaurant appears... More

We can feel as soon as we enter in the lobby that this hotel is not well managed. Receptionist not attentive and playing with their mobile phone. The hotel look old and definitely we were disappointed by the overall quality of their service. We slept well, but this is normal for an hotel, nothing to justify this price and stars.... More

The hotel has a lot of potential but in desperate need of TLC; tiles in bathroom cracked; faulty air conditioning; dirty carpets and out dated decor - won't be returning here anytime soon! It requires some investment to bring it up to modern day standards and no reason why it can't be a proper 5* hotel!

I selected this Hotel as a "splurge" post separate tour circuits out of Ulaanbaatar - a choice not readily made given the tour surcharge particularly as a single traveller. I query its supposed 5 star rating..............whilst there are elements which possibly make it stand out in UB, there were many service/presentation aspects which I do not believe qualify it for... We just spent one night in this hotel. The swimming pool and the sauna were out of order. The bathroom was dirty, the bed was not clean. At the reception, people were not nice, they barely say hello and did not show any smile or any signs of welcome. I will not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is costly, especially so consisering the cost of living in Mongolia in general. The room is spacious and gets you everything you need for the stay: a tothbrush, a comb and so on, but it is not that perfect. A pair of slippers wss not available in my room, whcih I noticed only after I talked with my... More

One of the better spots to stay in UB. good breakfast, excellent service. A little far from freedom square area but still valuable if sitting in traffic in a taxi is not appealing. Decent fitness center as well, newer equipment and rarely used so have place to yourself. Connected to a large mall so you can get supplies if needed.
