I emailed Nature's Door about a couple of issues before I confirmed my stay with them. The first request I had was to stay solo in a room in their lodge, not a ger, and I said I would be willing to pay the extra single supplement for this. Second, I asked if they could arrange transport for me from... More

What a Fantastic place to stay by the shores of Lake Hvosgol. Otgoo, the owner was such a joy to work with. She arranged pick up and return to the airport in Moron. Once we arrived at the camp we were treated so well. The food was delicious! The kitchen staff are so kind and helpful. We arranged to go... More

Great secluded location on the western side of the lake. Amazing food and the staff were incredible. 6 of us stayed in the lodge for 2 nights and had a great time. We asked for dinner to be served outside and nothing was a problem. Highly recommended if you are up that way. The southern camps are far too touristy.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Natures Door! Excellent camp! Although we were probably a little early in the season, so the hot water showers or power weren't available yet, the staff were exceptional, and the food was great! The camp is right on the lake and offers fantastic views. The owner went above and beyond... More

This was our second time at Nature's door. We loved it so much the first time, we had to go back! We are a family of four. Great facilities, hot showers and the most delicious meals. My favourite was the fresh fish. My son loved the pizza, my daughter loved the spaghetti and husband appreciated the cold beers. We always... More

N50°35'34.8" E100°10'57.5" This environmental conscious tourist gercamp offers cabins, a lodge and 16 gers with 4 beds each on the western shore of the Khövsgöl Lake. The view is great. A new extension to the north is being constructed. An English language teacher from Ulaanbaatar runs this gercamp, and most staff speaks English. According to the Lonely Planet guide, the... More

We found the Nature's Door ger camp by the beautiful Lake Khovsgol to be in a great location, run by nice and friendly people. The facilities were also great. However, in hindsight we could have probably spent our money a bit better. The extra activities offered were rather expensive ($80 for a boat ride to the other opposite side of... More

Not a particularly good ger camp. Staff OK, but management seemingly in league with some locals to rip you off. And their attitude was "we are the best camp here so we can do what we like and charge what we like". They doublebooked the gers, so left us with half the accomodation we had booked, at what turned out... More

I organised a expedition to lake khovsgol in Mongolia and booked 8 gers at the Natures Door ger camp well in advance. When we arrived they had only 4 gers for us: the director explained she had not received our booking from the UB office, however she was contradicted by the UB office when we enquired later. The director changed... More

Beautiful location, beautiful facilities, great food and friendly stuff. I don’t think you can ask for anything more. The location is great (we stayed in Camp2, which is in the Jankhai area). You wake up and look out and you see Lake Huvsgol in front of you. The view alone is worth all the trouble (the journey from Murun airport... More
