An older hotel but lovely large rooms and I enjoyed the balcony. Very cheap mini-bar, laundry and internet (US$2 for laundering of a pair of jeans). Some nice touches in the room and it was lovely and clean. I'd stay here again. more

People, this is Mongolia. Like another reviewer pointed out, a four star experience here is not like in the US or Europe. I just look for a clean, decent place to sleep each night. A perfectly reasonable hotel that was a little basic but adequate for our needs. As the temperature was -20 outside, the room was warm, with plenty of hot water, so we really had everything we needed. The breakfast was good and the service was great. I've stayed at the Bayangol Hotel numerous times when in UB for work. The hotel is simple, but is clean, has hot water and flushing toilets, has working elevators, and the staff are friendly.
