The Kaiser is within 15 minutes walk to the main shopping plaza with several restaurants along the way. Although the distance is < 10 miles from the airport, plan on 45 minutes each way as the traffic is heavy all times of the day. Seems that the road infrastructure hasn't kept up with the building boom in the city! The... More

The location is good, south east of the city centre. We walked around for 3 days and were fine. The food in the restaurant was good (although too much fat on the meat which we found other places also) and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was good and had fresh apples and oranges not seen at many places we travelled for... More

The Kaiser Hotel's interior is fairly new, but the service you receive is really not worth the money. The pipes spread bad odour in the bathrooms, if you don't leave the fan on, toilet paper was either not refilled and upon asking we were given half-used up rolls, but these are things that can be glossed over. What really disappointed... More

The Kaiser Hotel is located in a small street off Peace Avenue in the Sukhbaatar District of Ulaanbataar, Mongolia. It is within walking distance of Sukhbaatar Square with access to the National Museum – one of the best museums we have visited, Parliament house and the new Dinosaur Museum as well as several shopping centres. ATM’s and banks are also... More

Just a few streets from the main square this hotel has a good location, kind staff, and driver for airport runs for a charge. The rooms are clean and modern with a WIFI that works well. It isn't a large hotel but it is comfortable and the bathrooms are modern for those well needed hot showers after riding in the... More

Reasonable rated within walking distance to few attractions e.g Subantar square, national mesuem, wrestling palace, bus stop are just about 5min walk. Hotel room is classic, clean but breakfast is very basic not much choice and no lift but the staff will help to carry your luggage to the room, there is telephone in room. The building is enclosed with... More

But Kaiser is only a couple of blocks further from Peace Avenue and Sukabatar Square; older hotel with VERY comfortable beds in spacious rooms allowing you to spread out; delicious breakfast buffet. Ideal for walkers. Very helpful staff and willing to try. Spent 2 nights when we arrived for 2-week trip in Mongolia. Glad we did. The maps at the... More

I stayed for 5 nights at the Kaiser hotel after reading good reviews and considering location and rates. Overall the hotel is centrally located, I love walking so walked around town from the hotel without a problem and felt safe. The hotel is not in Peace Avenue but a block away from it. Staff try to be friendly but english... More

We chose this hotel based on reviews and low price. Our first stay was good, with good beds and a nice warm room that was welcome after the cold outdoors. A nice little walk to the central tourist areas. The only real issue we had was that the power for the tv didn't work in our room - they offered... More
