I found the location just off Sulhbataar Square to be ideal and the room cozy if utilitarian. Wifi shady (no floor's signal held for long). The breakfast buffet was a varying mix of hot foods, traditional pastries, and cereals. Rates were a good value, but hotel transport to/from ULN not so much. No late checkout offered, but paid a half... More

I stayed two times in this hotel during a three week trip in Mongolia (three nights first then two). The front desk people spoke reasonable English and all staff were friendly. For me, the best point about this hotel is the location, just a minute away from the city center square and with close proximity from restaurants and bars. From... More

We stayed here on two occasions for two nights and had two different rooms. Both were extremely comfortable, with actual bath which was a luxury especially with under floor heating, tea making facilities, in room safe and TV with BBC World and other international channels. Breakfast was nice and cooked to order if you wanted eggs. Staff very helpful. My... More

A series of unfortunate events saw me unexpectantly staying at Springs Hotel and having the most wonderful experience. I fell violently ill in a foreign country where I knew no one and was taken care of by the staff at Springs so unbelievably well. The facilities are first class but they can't top the attentive, friendly, considerate and helpful staff... More

The wifi is the best thing here. The hotel appears to be clean. Beds are a bit hard for my liking though. Breakfast is a bit basic, but again okay. No luxury here, just basic and clean; which is sometimes all you want. It is close to restaurants, although a little off the beaten track. Staff are friendly.

I stayed at the Springs Hotel for two separate nights at the beginning and end of my visit to Ulaanbaatar. The first night I stayed there was a more enjoyable experience. The second night it became very clear (due to some extremely "noisy" neighbours) that the walls are very thin and it made sleep somewhat difficult. The rooms are small... More

These are the two most important features of this hotel. It's tucked away from the main streets and does not have an impressive facade, but it is well placed for access to most of the significant downtown attractions. One can walk to restuarants, art galleries, pubs, prestigious hotels and business offices. The staff are very friendly, have an excellent command... More

I've stayed at Springs a few times now. It is still a reasonable option, and well located. However, there is a lot more competition in UB now in this space. For not much more, you can stay in the brand new Best Western for instance. Restaurant is good, service friendly and cheerful. Rooms are cleaned well. Internet is also good.... More

We stayed four nights in this hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. WiFi was free but required rebooting frequently. Location is excellent. Silk Road restaurant is in walking distance and has excellent food & service.

You can't beat this hotel for location in downtown Ulaan Baatur. Plus, the English speaking staff headed by Day Manager, "Honda", will respond quickly to any concerns you have about your room. Within one block of the hotel, you have the history of political repression museum, one of the few remaining temples in UB and Millie's great coffee and breakfast... More
