*Location* The place is very quiet, just behind MaxMall and Ramada hotel. The location is not really good but you can take 2-3 stops blue bus, 300T one way, on Peace Avenue to city center. *Service* Turbat is a nice guy. He picked us up on 11:00 pm and took us to downtown bank when currency exchange is not available... More

I have been working in Asia for the past two years and often come through Ulaanbaatar. I have stayed at many places in UB (because Danista is only open in the summer) but Danista remains my first choice. The staff at this hostel have always helped me in whatever I needed, be that taxis, tours, general information, or being flexible... More

Booked it for the first 2 nights in UB, after that moved to Golden Gobi. If you are like us, two friends looking to meet other people to travel together in Mongolia, this is not the place to be! It is very quite, we didn't met any other people from the guesthouse in spite the guest house was quite full,... More

To start off, we had a brilliant time in Mongolia! We went on a three night tour arranged by Danista Nomads. We had a lovely tour guide, who was bright, friendly, and spoke great English. It's an absolutely stunning country, with beautiful nature the best night sky I've ever seen! So five stars for the tour itself. Having said that,... More

We had a very nice stay and tour with this company. As other reviewers say, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the bathrooms were in great shape. Breakfast was brought to us at our convenience in the morning. Once, the hot water wasn't working, but it was fixed immediately. We also took a tour through them and the owner,... More

The location of the hostel was initially a little difficult for the taxi to find but if you go by the directions posted on hostelbookers you should be able to find it eventually. The room itself was large and clean. The shower had very low pressure but had hot water most of the time. I believe the rooms are supposed... More

Double room booked for single use. Private bathroom, Tv, wifi. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had a big window. Bathroom was also clean and it had been renovated despite the fact that some minor fittings need to be fixed, but it was clean. Location is good, located just a 2 minute walk to Peace Avenue, just near Gandan Monastery... More

Really good hotel, excellent service and location. Rooms are clean. We've stayed there for a week. We've travelled across all Mongolia for a month, so we've been in many hotels in different parts of Mongolia, and I want to say that Danista Nomands is the best place we've stayed: calm(in mongolian hotels a lot of problems with this), secure!, excellent... Budget family hostel. Jagaa who runs the place most of the time, speaks good English,is very friendly and can arrange great tours through the countryside. We did two very nice tours for a reasonable price. One of the cheapest if you compare it with others and eventhough good quality! They have nice new camping gear and arrange flexible tours. The... Clean, quiet and recent hostel. Run by a local family which will always help you any kind of request you will have. They can set up on demand trip in Mongolia that makes the differences.
