Clean guesthouse but way too busy and atmosphere tends to be stressful. I felt that as soon as the owners found out I wasn't joining any of their tours, they completely lost interest in me or even ignored me. Lucky that I only stayed 1 night. more

Excellent service from the moment the hosts welcomed us at the station until they said farewell at the station 24 hours later. Despite its location in a rather unpromising looking Soviet era apartment block, this is a very well organised business which, within the expected limitations of the budget hostel sector, makes sure its customers are well looked after. more

stayed here a few nights whilst on trans siberian journey.. rooms are great value looking out over a courtyard. Staff recommended not to stay out after 10pm which was fair enough and to be fair not to much to do late into night. best of all is the terelj trip they offer for stay in mongolian yurt, Also great place... more

UB is a small busy hostel in the centre of Ulan Bator, which offers cheap private and dorm rooms with shared bathrooms with no frills attached. The staff are really helpful and friendly.
