We were three girls who stayed in a three-bed dorm on the fourth floor and found that two of three beds were very comfortable. The aircon worked well (we had the remote to adjust the temperature ourselves), it was very clean and we will never forget the free breakfast. The wifi was hardly ever working. The service is great, we... More

If you go here do not stay in the room directly across from reception. No window, air conditioning that only works on freezing or not at all, and the underlying smell of old oil and fried eggs when you turn on the fan that is supposed to bring go in fresh to compensate for the lack of a window. And... More

Did come to Vientiane by bus from Viang Vieng and the bus dropped me at the doorsteps of Mixay. Since i wanted to go there anyway I was quite happy. Got a single room at the second floor for 60.000 kip. Realized later that next door you get singles starting from 40.000 kip. There was a bed with a real... More

I have read a number of reviews of guesthouses in Vientiane where visitors complained of bed bugs. I was so worried and made some research on-line and understand that this guesthouse is clean and free from bed bugs and thus head for it. The room was indeed clean and there was no bed bugs. The air-con is switched on at... More

First impression is that this place tries but after a day, you realize they don't. The place is fairly clean and is a relatively good price with a free breakfast. However, the WiFi never worked and there were many excuses given to the various guests who made complaints about this. The owner demands everything to be paid up front unlike... More

We just spent one night. 85.000 for a room with no bathroom. They only have wifi at the reception. We had a hundred mosquitos in our room. The walls need a painting. The shared bathroom was not very clean and no hot water. Nice situation and breakfast included.

I have stayed here two times when going to Vientiane to visit the Thai consulate. I find it a clean and cheap with very friendly and accommodating staff (I even keep in touch with one of the guys on FB). The place has fan and air con rooms, each with a wardrobe, drying rack and a vanity with a seat.... More

Plus Points: Its a nice, cheap hotel near the Mekong River with free breakfast (coffee, orange juice, sliced bread x2, & egg). There are electric toasters available if you need ur bread toasted. There is free wifi and they will tell u that it works only at the ground floor. The single room I got was simple, consisting of a... More

Nothing to say about the hotel but they book for me the most awful trip ever. At the departure the bus was in pieces and so full, but they keep stopping every 5 minutes to fill it to the max. OK with this and the 2 hours delay that made 15 h ride and arriving at 23h. But they let... More

Before I went to Vientiane I read what some bloggers had reviewd from their trip around Laos. One of them recommended this hostel so when we got to the city and had to look for a place to sleep, we were glad to find it on our way. The stuff is really friendly and helpfull, rooms are clean and cosy.... More
