This nicely located boutique hotel is attractively furnished and has a friendly staff. Breakfast is served next door in a charming restaurant. Very good value. Only drawback is lack of an elevator. My room faced the river, had a balcony and got lots of sun A great place for a few days

This hotel is on the banks of the Mekong and looks out to Thailand. We had a riverfront room and the room is a good size. The hotel is 10 mins walk to one end of the night market and makes for a good walk back after a day looking round Vientiane finishing at the night market. The only problem... More

Stayed one night in this delightful boutique style hotel. Would have liked to stay longer but my itinerary didn't allow. My room was on the third floor spacious and with large balcony. All facilities you could want air con, fan, mini bar, plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed. The bed looked directly out over the balcony towards the... More

We stayed here 4 nights and actually really enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is NOT in the centre but a scenic 10 min walk straight walk there. Whilst you aren't in the centre, you are near some lovely street food places, mini marts and of course the most beautiful mekong river right opposite the hotel. The rooms are nice, decorated well... Our corner room had red sunset views down the Mekong. Cicadas and bird chirped through a huge screened door. What a beautiful gentle sound. There are bicycles and super friendly staff. Breakfast next door is included - eggs, toast, coffee, tea, Cornflakes etc. Gordon organised an airport pickup for $8US (paid the driver). December / January is a wonderful time... More

Our room in the first floor facing the garden was nicely equipped, very clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast served in the Restaurant nearby was plenty and tasty. During the night the barking dogs were a bit loud, but with earplugs it was no problem. We liked to discover Vientiane by bikes, which we... More

I stayed in a peaceful, beautifully decorated pink room overlooking the garden and shaded by a big tree. The staff here are helpful and friendly and Gordon, the proprietor, lives on site, so he keeps the hotel running smoothly and professionally. The hotel is a short walk from the centre of town, and the Mekong is just across the road.... More

Our room overlooking the river has one of the most unusual layouts ever. You walk into the room and face a sort of minibar/open pantry. The shower is in the corner. You walk around the pantry to get to the bed. Strange! But it was big and Gordon provided much helpful info. Once you walk outside, you are steps away... More

I must admit that the photos of this hotel were nicer than the actual room. The rooms very very hot and you needed to keep the air conditioning going to keep it cool. The sun shines right into the room and if you drop the bamboo blind down you can't get onto the balcony. There are no toiletries except for soap and the... This is a really nice hotel. The rooms (including bathrooms) are very tastefully designed. No wonder the hotel is so nicely ranked. Try to get the superior rooms if possible -in addition to the Mekong view, you'll get much more space. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is that the breakfast was pathetic. The options were a... More
