stayed at this place for a couple of nights whilst visiting Vientiane, it's reasonably well placed along river front and had a great restaurant right next to it. Food and drink reasonable. Our host was a chatty and friendly Aussie, lots of local knowledge and very helpful. The room was very "Boutique" modern in style and for two (straight) male... More

I stayed in this hotel at Room 102 and had an accident because of its poorly planned and constructed shower room. I had two large bruises in between my thighs and hurt my rib cage when i slipped after taking a shower. No towel rack, no rail to hold, no slip-free rubber mat, It's accident-prone! unless you don't take a... More

The hotel manager (Gordon) offered me so much help and gave me so much useful information, he made my stay in Vientiane a very comfortable and enjoyable one. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, with a great view of the garden, and very comfortable. The attached restaurant (Spirit House) serves great breakfast and local food for lunch and... More

Great location and a surprise having the outdoor pool! Lovely addition indeed. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff! I would definitely go back here. Close to river, great food and historical sites. A definite return. Enjoy!

The hotel is not your conventional hotel, apart from the pink obsession the room we had was overlooking the Mekong on the first floor. There is no lift but the stairs are quite manageable. The room itself was different. On entry there was a centre buffet that housed the bar fridge and tea, coffee, kettle and some decent wine glasses,... More

When we entered the "lobby" of the hotel I was not really ethousiastic. But the rooms were great. It is not everybody's taste but very comfortable and stylish "Madmen" .. Service was great and staff very friendly. I would certainly come back here. Beautifull view on the Mekong River.

Very nice hotel on the banks of the Mekong River. Rooms looking to the other side of the river: Thailand. Rooms are very beautifull with a small kitchenette for making a breakfast. The restaurant next door has a nice terras and serves good food.

We stayed for one night at the Beau Rivage at the end of our trip through Vietnam and Laos. Location: ======= Right on the river in the area of the night market. It's a small hotel. Room: ===== This is not your standard hotel room (we had a river view). The bed is in the middle of the room, there... More

Don't be misled by the uninspirational façade of the building, nor by its colour. Once inside you will be amazed by the exquisite and tastefull decorated rooms, with everything you"ll need (including quite fasr wifi), and a (small) veranda, overlooking the mighty Mekong. Australian owner Gordon will help you finding your way around. Have a nice lunch and/or diner, of... More
