I stayed here for two nights as part of a tour group. Pros: great location near restaurants and attractions, beautiful court-garden, reasonably clean, and safe. Cons: the hotel rooms were basic, and the price is on the expensive side for South East Asia. The internet was poor and rarely worked in the rooms (internet worked in the lobby but there... More

the hotel is a good option if you want to stay budget in centre of town. We booked a room which was displayed having a balcony towards the nice courtyard/garden. When we arrived we where given a room in the very corner on the ground floor with a tiny glimpse to the garden. When we immediately complained and asked for a... More

I'm in the hospitality industry and of course while this guest house has many edges, I would like to point out the good things which make it worthwhile staying here. First of course with a rate between 25-30$ one should not have too high expectations. But, to be fair, I offers everything I would ask for at that rate. English... More

Good location in Vientiane, near nice coffee shops and restaurants. Had a pretty courtyard you could sit in & good free wifi. Good location in Vientiane, near nice coffee shops and restaurants. Had a pretty courtyard you could sit in & good free wifi.

We stayed in this hotel on our south east asia tour, and honestly, this was so far the worst experience we have had. This hotel might have nicer rooms, but what we got was just a totally run down room with dangerous power supply, holes in the ceiling where mosquitoes easily fly into the room (even with a/c) and a... We have stayed here several times over the years. It suits us because it is clean, good value and ideally located for trips around Vientiane. The quiet central courtyard is where breakfast is served. Breakfast was OK but had it not been included we would have eaten elsewhere. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little basic... More

The hotel was not new but it compensated by good location to travel city day trip.We booked here for a night. I also impressed with good service staff. I asked them to contact my Laos's driver to travel to Wang Weng and they called him for me without any annoying manner. The room was not perfect but it was value... More

I came here on a backpacking type trip with some people from my school and we had no idea what to expect. We knew we would be roughing it at some point but we didn't know when (our itinerary was created for us) After almost 2 days of traveling and dealing with the shock of the heat (I live in... More

We enjoyed our three day stay at the Mali Namphu. The rooms are small basic but clean. The beds were comfy enough and the air con worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast wasn't the greatest but the Scandanavian Bakery is just round the corner if you need to have extra coffee and a pastry ! Round the... More

Booked 2 nights on agoda - paid $40 per night which seemed a little high for quality of accommodation but it was high season. Room upstairs opened out onto common balcony which was nice to sit out on overlooking the central garden area. Room itself was dark and small being almost totally taken up be bed. Bathroom dark and water... More
