I spent 3 nights the guest house. Good location 3 minute walk to night market and river all other major attractions (which aren't many) are within walking distance the furthers being about a 30 minute walk. Hotel has 3 computers for public use and the staff are super friendly and helpful. But, for me that's where it ends. You have... More

There are three hotels in a row and this is the third hotel on the street. It is the most expesive of the three but it is also the biggest with its own court yard. From the outside it looke real nice like a French boutique hotel Pros- Clean, Nice hot shower, fridge, Good AC and TV with all international... More

very overpriced hotel, rooms are clean but small, no way to a just the A/C so basically you are cold or you boil during night... We came for the breakfast included feature but breakfast is very simple and you will get more out of your money by staying in a cheaper gh (same road will do) and have breakfast outside.

This was my second visit to Vientiane and upon recommendation I booked this hotel for three nights. The check-in was easy and the staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. There are a few computers available for use in the reception area, and the WiFi seems to work consistently best in the reception area and sporadically in the courtyard... More

The Mali Namphu is near to attractions, restaurants and a public swimming pool and has a quiet and attractive inner courtyard. Staff booked onwards bus journeys for me to Luang Prabang and were helpful and courteous. Breakfast was substantial and there were several choices and rooms were cleaned without fail.

My girlfriend and I checked in after an overnight train. The girl at the desk handed me a form to fill out, as soon as this was finished she put our key on the desk and walked away without saying a single word to us. No explanation about breakfast, wifi, hotel services. She just expected us to find our room... More

I stayed here for two nights as part of a tour group. Pros: great location near restaurants and attractions, beautiful court-garden, reasonably clean, and safe. Cons: the hotel rooms were basic, and the price is on the expensive side for South East Asia. The internet was poor and rarely worked in the rooms (internet worked in the lobby but there... More

the hotel is a good option if you want to stay budget in centre of town. We booked a room which was displayed having a balcony towards the nice courtyard/garden. When we arrived we where given a room in the very corner on the ground floor with a tiny glimpse to the garden. When we immediately complained and asked for a... More

I'm in the hospitality industry and of course while this guest house has many edges, I would like to point out the good things which make it worthwhile staying here. First of course with a rate between 25-30$ one should not have too high expectations. But, to be fair, I offers everything I would ask for at that rate. English... More
