The front office receptionnist kept trying to insist that he was offering us some sort of discount at 210 000 kip when it was very clearly written 210 000 kip in the entrance. We ended up at the Lao-Paris when the guesthouse we had booked did not have a room for us. The hotel is very central. For 30$ we had a very nice room with AC, satellite TV, fridge; the bathroom was clean, the hot water abundant. A bit of dusting could have helped however. Free fast internet in the lobby was... more

no bar or restaurant, but nice & spacious, en-suite, air-con. rooms at a good value rate of $15 per night. (not $25 as quoted on some web-sites). central location, nice little spot, well worth a try. more
