We have actually not stayed at the hotel but were intending to do so. For some reason our booking was not received in good order (although booking confirmation was received). Going from bad to worse the hotel simply responded that it was "end of the day anyhow and that they are closed for new bookings" and that we should look... More

My wife and I have lived here for the last nine months since Jan 2013 and are very happy overall, it seems that we must be staying at a different place to some of the reviewers. Yes if you book in for a few days expecting a normal tourist hotel you are likely to be disappointed, it is not set... More

Moldy smell: the bedroom carpet reeked of mold and mildew. The staff shampooed but the mildew odor was stronger than that of the shampoo. Perhaps part of the problem was that the hotel was too cheap to invest in vacuum cleaners. Mosquitoes: the apartment was a haven for mosquitoes, despite the frequent fogging of the grounds. In fact, I suspect... More

The apartments are conveniently located within walking distance to the main part of town, however far enough way to be quiet. They are clean and spacious and for those who are staying long term there is also plenty of storage space and cupboards. For families the apartments also have laundry facilities, a large pool and jacuzzi as well as play... More

We stayed twice at the Parkview before and after visiting Luang Prabang. Arriving on a Saturday evening we were warmly welcomed and check in was very quick. Our room was a studio overlooking the pool.It was slightly showing its age but was well equipped and comfortable. The bathroom arrangement was unusual with toilet and shower in separate rooms with the... More

I have been staying at Park View almost a year or so for over 3 years period for my business. Overall, the facility and the services is good, but it could be better since there is no alternatives in Vientiane. Room and fixings are clean and tidy but I must say minor repair and renewal shall be needed very soon.... More

We stayed with our family (three kids). Apart from the pool which is superb, it was a bad choice. This is not so much a hotel but more an expat apartment service for expats staying here for a month or so to bridge some time before they get their own house. The rooms and "hotel" are very impersonal, you could... More

Not the most modern of hotels but there are some real pros to it There is a brilliant pool which is usually very quiet, a free laundry with dryers, breakfast is included in the cost and is more than adequate and even though it isn't in the heart of the tourist area it is only a 10 min walk away... we stayed 12nts at Parkview it was to long, the air-con was very loud with a condensor on the balcony that backfire all day and all night. The room was very spacious though and breakfast was just ok the same everyday. The power was off the first Saturday that we stayed it went off at 9.45am and was not on... More

I stayed here for 2 weeks. First thing I didn't like was the toilet sit, which was yellow. I checked in my friend's room and there was the same, yellow toilet sit. It could be old, but still... not something I was happy to see. Breakfast was same every day and not with a rich choice. In the end we started... More
