The good - clean, large (but basic) room. Pool (but the size of a large home pool with wooden chairs without cushions and NO shade - which since it was blisteringly hot made it no very useable). Bathroom with leak around base of toilet (small leak), dirt marks in tub.
Lots of restaurants nearby, two minutes to night market (but...

With a great location and decent facilities, this place is worth the money. I could see five resturant/bars from my balcony, yet it was quiet as a tomb in my room. This place is within walking distance to all the neat little shops, restaurants and 'wats' that you want to see in a day or two. I can only complain...

Spent four nights here, and enjoyed everything about it. Nice room, service, breakfast, and had a swimming pool. Great location, with lots of good places to eat in the area. We rented bikes next door, and headed off to discover the capital. Several families were staying with young children, and there was always a friendly, family vibe every afternoon at...

We chose this hotel primarily for its great location - right in the middle of all the restaurants, a few steps to the river and walking distance to many sights in lovely Vientiane.
We did not request an airport pick up but were given a free drop off at the airport on our departure.
We took a front deluxe room...

It is located down a side street that has a good range of restaurants & bars and not very far to walk to alot of the main attractions. It is also just across the road...

We researched Vientiane hotels to death before we chose this one and found it to be the best, not only on paper but in fact. We stayed here for four nights in early February and really enjoyed it. It's not super luxury but its by no means downscale. It just seemed like a very clean, well-run, comfortable western-style hotel in...

The Best Western Vientiane Hotel is situated in the old town (Mixai) area near the River Mekong, and is just 8 minutes by taxi from Wattay Airport. Our (very large) room was a “Deluxe Queen” and had cable/satellite TV, minibar and tea/coffee-making facility. Bathroom was also large. Our room was clean & had good air conditioning , but our window...
