It had been nine years since I last stayed in this hotel. Vientiane had changed a lot but I was hoping this place was more or less the same, its not. The current owners are Vietnamese so dont speak Laos or Thai for that matter. At first I was put off by the price but after comparing with other paces... More

we arrived first with them trying to convince us that we hadn't booked with them rather the hostel next door they were quite stand offish, however after confirming that we actually had booked they offered us with complementary drinks. Rooms were big and spiciest. Great pool to swim in. breakfast was good and were were able to use the pool... More

We arrived here tired after kayaking down from Vang Vieng, only to have the manager spend an hour trying to convince us that our 10-yr-old is actually 11! (0-10yrs stay free in existing bedding - he wanted her to pay as an adult). He was really rude! Other than that unpleasant experience, this could be a really nice hotel. It's... More

Clean room, nice bed, AC works good. Lighting could be better in the rooms and the breakfast could be a lot better. The pool is a cool feature though. I'd stay again if I went back to Vientiane. It's better than a lot of other hotels at the same price. People complain too much. It's 35 bucks. Don't expect the... More

Good location for the hotel, but not much more. Room was ok, although a bit noisy, and pool and breakfast are good enough. However, it was not the nicest place, just coming in from the street you could see a hotel sign full of lizzards and a not welcoming small alley. Staff was not very nice, very distant and not... It was great to stay in a hotel, even for only one night, after staying in so many hostels! Peaceful, quiet and friendly place. I shared a room with a friend. We got free bottles of water and free breakfast - which was fair, I didn't like the pancakes very much, but they have lots of stuff there. Also, there... More

First time i've gone to Vientiane with my buddy. The location of this hotel is quite near the center so i can walk to see some famous places. Breakfast is included in price for room and i think its good. Dont like the juice but Pancake is really nice. The hotel's staffs are friendly as well. I met a Vietnamese... More

We get to the hotel at 12pm and been told that you can't check in until 2pm, fair enough. Come back 2hrs later. Checked in...they put us in the "standard room" 3rd floor which is not the room that we ask for from booking, the room HASN'T BEEN CLEAN and not ready we asked right away to change the room!... More

I could not agree more with the reviewer who said she had never seen such a misleading hotel site. Anyone who raves about this hotel must be spending most of their other nights in youth hostels with shared kitchens, beds and baths. Because this is just a notch up. I changed a reservation at another hotel I had booked because... More

Entrance right next to the backpackers, but don't let that put you off, front desk staff are very helpful. Breakfast is alright (minimal fruit, bread etc - made to order pancakes, omelettes etc). Caught mini bus that transferred us to a VIP bus to Vang Vieng - bought ticket at hotel. Walked to shops, cafe etc. Also an ANZ atm... More
