This is my second trip to Vientiane within 6 months. I have written a review of Mercure Vientiane before for Tripadvisor but will just add a comment for the Front Office. I stayed for 5 nights and everything was just great but special mention must go to Mr Salim and his team for their assistance and guidance. They gave me... More

I really liked this hotel. The pool is very clean and spacious, there are lets of facilities to use like a gym and spa. the staff are friendly and polite and flirtatious .... The rooms were standard and comfy. However the mini bar and food at the hotel are very expensive your better off buying it somewhere else but All... More

Small pool inside hotel with the small gym, meeting room and bar around it - well kept. Reasonable spread / choices (in small quantity but refilled) of food over buffet breakfast and dinner in cosy restaurant. Room with bed abit worn out, and big glass window.

We arrived at this hotel to find it was somewhat familiar- we had stayed here 8 years ago when it was a Novotel! Not much had changed to be honest Rooms are fairly spacious and clean but A/C is very noisy and our room was at the front and there was a lot of traffic noise as it looked over... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights at the start of a tour of Laos and Cambodia. The hotel is pretty standard, a bit corporate and slightly Western feeling, but the rooms were comfortable, the food fine, and the pool small but pretty nice at the end of a hot day touring the city. Not very central but plenty of... More

Hotel situated on a busy road not very central for the town. Room was comfortable and clean. Good pool to sit and relax after a busy day. Breakfast was exceptional bacon egg, cereal and pastries. WFI intermittent.

We stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a 19 days tour of IndoChina. Have to say it didn't compare particularly well with the other hotels on the tour. Decor, fittings & furniture are all fairly basic, there are no western channels on the TV and, as someone else has already commented, the WiFi system is poor.... More

The hotel has a good ambience with pleasant, friendly staff. Our room was light and spacious and overlooked the pool. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Our main irritation was that we found the wifi signal was very poor and frequently we could not download email. Also, the hotel is located too far from the city centre for... More
