PROS: 5 * AIRPORT PICK UP ($15 US/$10 drop off) The driver was prompt, warm and friendly. He enjoys "practising his English" and his attitude gave a very positive impression. He was also an excellent driver. SPACIOUS ROOM LOOKING OUT ON LOVELY POOL - ask for room with widest veranda (in middle of block/1st floor...20); white linen/polished boards etc....all v... More

We had a very nice suite here. There was a laptop in the room for clients to use with free wifi, we that was a nice touch. The staff were rather lax but I understand there is now new management and it will soon improve. It is central and very convenient for sightseeing in the city. All in all a... More

This hotel is situated in the city centre with everything in walking distance. The rooms were clean, free mini bar, free wifi but shower is basic over the bath. The service and breakfast was good and a great swimming pool. They will provide transport to and from the airport for about £20, although the airport is only 15 min drive.

We had hoped for a haven of peace in the middle of the city, but when we arrived there was a team of workmen (about a dozen) hammering and angle-grinding away on the roof. This was a shame as the room was very nice and the environment in the hotel grounds, with its pool, could have been relaxing. The manager... More

We stayed as part of a short visit to Vientiane and were thoroughly delighted with the hotel, the rooms were of a high standard and the complementary mini bar with juices, snacks and soft drinks was a real surprise. The pool was wonderful and so quiet even though you are only yards away from one of the main roads. Our... More

Beautiful extended, colonial house, nice garden, small pool, large rooms (but the standard rooms are a bit basic even if comfortable and the bathroom doesn't have a proper shower which is inadequate for a hotwl of this level). Staff nice but English limited as anywhere else here. Very good extras such as free minibar, fruit and efficient wifi plus pc for... More

The boutique hotel, with its Scots manager, is located in a quiet street. The hotel rooms are set around 3 sides of a very clean, inviting swimming pool. The hotel is elegant with attractive grounds. Our room was large with a very modern bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was good. The room had efficient air conditioning. The staff... More

As others have said, this is a charming and beautiful hotel. However, while I might come here for holiday, this was not an ideal hotel for business. Generally speaking, the staff were all friendly and professional - that said, they were not particularly helpful with directions or business support. This hotel is in desperate need of a concierge who knows... More

Stayed here for 3 weeks as part of my move to Vientiane. Hotel room has everything you need and is very clean. Great pool. Staff is good and responsive, but they will struggle to understand English (but you get that everywhere in Laos). Had dinner and breakfast a few times. Breakfast is standard. Better restaurants within easy walking distance to... More

I fall in love with this hotel immediately after arriving at the hotel. There are so many good things about it. Firstly, the reception building is so classy and resembles an old colonial building. Reception area is also beautifully decorated and gives guests a very good first impression. The room is also very beautiful and nicely decorated with a nice... More
