I have been traveling to Vientiane for work during the last 3 years. I tried several hotels, around 20, and recently I discovered the Intercity, which I had seen many times but never slept there. 2 weeks ago I went by chance after having some issues at the Khamvongsa with the internet and the staff (I will never go back... We had a room at the thid floor in front of Mekong. The view was very good and the hall also was elegant, but the room were really too old with old furnitures; there were aunts in the basin and the curtains were dirty. Positif aspect were the free internet, but at the end it does not worth the price,... More

The staff is very good. Listening to clients. It should do work in the rooms, as too old. The best rooms are spacious, but are part of Mekong and "Quai Fa Ngum", so noisy. No double glazing. It's a shame because the hotel could be really great. A little bit expensive. Free wifi in the rooms. Excellent location.

We were very diappointed with this room Firstly we were given twin beds when a double or king was requested (and available) Photos re misleading. Breakfast below each level with lots of flies. We went after 3 days to the beautiful hotel khamvongsa

We stayed here for two nights in April 2011. It was a lovely hotel - very nicely decorated. Free internet. The room was large but the bed was very noisy - the slightest movement made a huge creaking noise! The location is great (opposite the river and night market), so we would recommend this place.

Having spent a couple of weeks in southern laos where the choice & quality of decent budget/mid range accommodation was poor, we decided to treat ourselves to something nice. I found this place on a special offer on laterooms.com giving 4 nights for the price of 3 working out at $25 per night but we were unable to book it... More

We had a view of the neighbouring buildings concrete wall, the walls of our room were peeling due to dampness and the toilet didnt work. We told reception... More

My wife and I were booked to visit North East Thailand (where we have a house) in the last week of February. The beginning of our trip overlapped the end of a holiday for another couple we know and two other couples from the UK had also recently arrived in Thailand. It was decided that a couple of nights in... More

We paid 35 usd for a double room you can find something better for less money. The Hotel Hall is very nice but once entering in the room we noticed that it was dirty. Bathroom was small and smelly, window did not close, bad was old. The excellent location and the good breakfast and since the reservation was prepaid are... More
