For a 3 star joint, Inter City Boutique Hotel in Vientiane is value for money. Though the TV don't seem to have any shows, the wifi is sufficient though do not support streaming media well. But I guess that is the standard in Vientiane right now. A little noisy between 6pm till 10pm if you get the Mekong River facing... More

We stayed in this hotel on two separate occasions and each time we enjoyed it very much. The rooms are clean and comfy, bathrooms come with toiletries. The free breakfast is not spectacular, but it’s good. There are also many good restaurants nearby. The location was perfect for us, as it was on the river away from downtown, but still... More

My family and I went to Vientiane as a family trip and my mom selected this hotel. We all liked it very much. We were 6 of us so we had 1 double room and 2 twin rooms. They were all nicely decorated and very comfortable. The on site restaurant served delicious food, and the staff were all very helpful... More

This is a zero star hotel. Old, smelly, noisy and way overpriced. It is also listed under B&Bs - see my longer review there. Maybe try the Auberge Sala Impeng around the corner for much better value in this price bracket.

The review of this hotel is not that good. But I chose this because it offered free breakfast at the price of 35 USD per night. And at this price, it's just few bucks more expensive than guesthouse in that area. - Location is good. Right in front of the river, and the night market is also in front of... More

This is a cute Asian themed hotel, with oodles of paintings and statues, very authentic and warm. My first room was a deluxe double bed without bath, huge room , overlooking the Mekong river. Now i'm a light sleeper, and with the public aerobics going on outside with blaring music, and the traffic starting at 6, I moved to a... More

This hotel is just ok. Location is pretty good, we had a superior room which was nice and big but the bathrooms were ugly, a bit dirty and dark. Staff is ok, speak decent english and breakfast was just fine. It wasn't that cheap, I think there could be better options, there are lots of little hotels around the area.... More

It is right next to a bar which plays very loud music until midnight. You can hear the music clearly as well as the bass pounding in your room. The ac unit is very loud but does not give out any cool air. The beds are a single old mattress on a bed and the sheets don't fit the bed... More

This is an unusual hotel, it's a art gallery and hotel. The staff were friendly and very laid back. My room was at the front of the building overlooking the Mekong river and night market. The bed was very, very comfortable! The safety deposit box was not bolted down so it could be easily removed, and the door locks were... More
