This hotel was clean, the room was big, walking distance to many restaurants and the riverfront. Breakfast was great with plenty of options and the location is convenient. Great value for your money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Quiet hotel close to the riverfront. Very charming and stylish (French colonial) A bit hard but still comfy bed. Nice bathroom. Very pleasant and spacious room (even single room) Breakfast is great, with real Laos coffee and local products. Service is ok, but sometimes a bit too formal and reserved. But overall had an enjoyable stay. Would probably go back!

Great room, lots of space and with a lot of character. Breakfast has a fair choice and a very French bistro feeling. This hotel could be anywhere in the world and still do a great trade. Staff are friendly, speak great English and can point you to all the sights.

The hotel itself is great and good value for money. Nice and clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. In theory, good location: rather central in a quiet street The problem is there is a big construction site in the street behind, facing the room where we were staying (4th floor of the building at the back). Construction starts at... More

It was my second stay in this hotel (I don't understand why it's classified as a guest house on Tripadvisor) and I really enjoyed it again. My room was large and very comfortable with nice furnitures. Of course, it's not a five star hotel, but for US$ 45, it's a good value for money. The location is great, in a... More

There are many reviews for this hotel but I will make some observations based on my two-night stay that some people may find helpful. 1. The location is excellent. It was a two-minute walk to the night market (located along the Mekong) and about 15 minutes to the Presidential Palace. There is an ATM right next to the hotel, which... More

It was my fourth time I stayed in Khamvongsa over the last couple of years. Well, this time it was just noisy. To the back of the hotel - where about 70% of the rooms are facing - there is now a huge construction site. The day of my departure bricks were delivered at 6.20 a.m., from 7 a.m. (until... More

We stayed here twice during our trip (on the way up north and on the way back through). We had two different rooms and both were very good. The hotel is a nice, subtle building with some beautiful old touches inside. Rooms are simple but have everything you need (fridge, AC, nice bathrooms). All the staff we dealt with were... More

I have now stayed in this hotel three times and I cannot recommend it enough. It's fantastic value for the price. Good service, clean and beautiful rooms and friendly service. The breakfast is really delicious too (I especially like the Guatemalan farmers breakfast).

It was my second time in Khamvongsa, and I have to say that the place is as good as ever. And the service is super-friendly. The rooms are stylishly furnished, and the room to the back is more quiet. Choose this room so that you should have a good sleep. The breakfast is undeniably the best I have had in... More
