My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at hotel khamvongsa. Room facilities were great, kitchen sink, kettle, bowls, Cutlery, this was very appreciated. We stayed in the cheapest room and still very adequate. Bathroom drain clogged but this was rectified straight away! breakfast was very enjoyable. Great location.

We spent a couple of nights here and found the hotel to be well run with friendly staff. Our room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and enjoyed the fresh fruit. The hotel is well priced.

This hotel is clean, comfortable, smart, and centrally located in the charming small capital city of Vientiane.Free wifi is a bit hit and miss (but this is Laos).Rooms are spacious and characterful, and the breakfast is superb. Fresh croissants to rival anything in France , filter coffee a, yoghurt, fresh fruits - I couldnt finis it. I cant think of... More

I spent 3 nights at Hotel Khamvongsa last February. The hotel is very nice, in a colonial-style building (completely refurbished), our room was OK, only the bathroom was quite basic and there was a very little problem with the tap. The staff is kind. Breakfast was good with 5 different choice of menu and most of food is organic. In... More

My husband and I have stayed here twice over the last three years and we'd stay again if we returned to Vientiane. For the price, I don't think Hotel Khamvongsa can be beat. It is quiet, clean, quaint, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Also, the breakfast is memorable (which says a lot in Southeast Asia as hotel breakfasts... More

This is a beautiful small hotel. Joust a step away from the most noisy part of town, and yet close enough to work to everything. Stayed there for 6 weeks, while working in Vientiane. Very nice atmosphere, friendly people and very reasonable prices.

I can only agree with all the other good reviews. Breakfast was extremely good. Rooms large, comfortable and clean. All the dark wood made it a little dark but not a problem. Comfy bed and decent bathroom. I liked the little courtyard.

As others have said, can't fault this place for comfort, cleanliness, staff, location, breakfast, etc. Great location within walking distance of everything I wanted to see in Vientiane, and two minutes from the Mekong for a beer in the evening! Great street food each evening within walking distance. Staff very welcoming and made us cups of tea when we returned... More

I've often thought of staying in other places in Vientiane, but this always fits the bill. One of the best hotel breakfasts available (a la carte and made-to-order), a nice bar, and a great attention to design. The simple, striking rooms are full of wood and set off by gorgeous Lao textiles. The staff are well-trained, speak decent English, and... More

We stayed here 4 nights in May 2014. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was top notch - and the rooms were also, well done. It was a bit on the expensive side, which we realized after staying a couple of days, when we saw that the other guests seemed largely from NGO groups of one sort or another (i.e.... More
