Planned on staying 2 nights and stayed for 5! It's the perfect refuge. 3 minute walk from "downtown" and the food and service is really top class. The manager, Bhavain, is really excellent and helps in every way needed: travel booking, suggestions, and all-around service. You will probably not find better all-around service and value in Vientiane.

Thank you very much for your feedback. More than words of appreciation, we take complaints more seriously. It gives us an opportunity to look at our shortcomings. After taking good care of a guest during his/her stay, it would not make any sense to offend them as they are about to leave. Having said that, it is genuinely possible for... More

Stayed at City Inn for a week. Breakfast not too bad, if you like omelet and coffee remember to order from the waiters as it part of the buffet. Overall location not too bad with walking distance to seaside night market. Some excellent restaurants around its vicinity, sushi, noodles and famous chap chai deu. I find the bear concrete flooring... More

Stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the location. Nice spas for massages on the same street, plus walking distance to lots of good restaurants. Rooms have cement floors, which we thought gave them a modern look, but were obviously poured during a remodel because you have to step up to get into the room (watch your toes) and step... More

Slap bang in the middle of Vientiane, great place to discover all that Vientiane has to offer yet quiet and restful. The suite we had was just wonderful, large, separate lounge dinning to the large peaceful bedroom. Have stayed here many times and have always been happy with the service, rooms and the hotel in general. Very comfortable, more like... More

Spent a pleasant few days here, and had no problems at all. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and fresh with coffee and eggs etc all cooked to order. Location was very convenient within walking distance to centre. Good (but pricey) new Café Paris opened just down the road. Inexpensive places to eat and get a proper massage... More

Hotel a few minutes walk from the river and the night market as well as being away from the centre. Cafes nearby plus local restaurants. Hotel itself good amenities with a wide choice of breakfast. Rooms with balcony albeit not the best of views. However good spacious rooms and good shower

I booked a suite room here for one night and was impressed at its size and value compared to other hotels. There was parking, and the hotel isn't on the waterfront, but is close to many of the VTE attractions. Breakfast choices were bland and poor tho, and the toilet needed to be flushed when I entered the room.

Dark hallways, guest room with polished concrete foors, sparse decor, some mosquitos in the room. Overall, this was a depressing place--more insitutional than hotel. Breakfast was decent--nothing more. Location is depressing too.

Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for taking time to write review for City Inn and share your personal observations regarding the hotel and location. We are happy that you like the breakfast. One of the basic Lao flooring was cement style and we have tried to carry the local test / them with the modern technology available. I am sorry that... More
