Just stayed the 1 night here. Got the deluxe suite. Air con was just adequate. No fans. All staff struggle with English so most things are an effort to ask for. Basic breakfast. Smallest lift in the world. Lol Easy walk at night to the river and night market. Overall it was ok.

The hotel is decent enough. However if you like to sleep late be prepared to hear slamming doors in the morning as everyone bum rushes the breakfast area at 7 in the morning. Another problem is that by 8 am all the croissants are long gone. And the hotel doesn't have extra. The staff is nice, and the showers have... More

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in Avalon Hotel. Even though the staff spoke limited English they were very helpful and friendly. We thought that it was a nice touch that the rooms were named after flowers. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom and great shower. AC worked fine, as did the WiFi. The breakfast was... More

We stayed here for 1 night as part of our month-long Indochina tour, and we weren't that impressed. The room was a little dirty with marks on the bed sheets. The air con didn't work and when I tried to turn it on a stream of ants fell onto my bed. The staff resolved the ants, but couldn't get the... More

This little hotel is fairly unremarkable. It was clean and the staff was pleasant. Mostly I think about it being in a sketchy area. The hotel itself was fine, but the neighborhood smelled bad and was dirty. We were only in Vientiane for a day and a half, so maybe that's how it is everywhere.

Service is outstanding. Rooms are small but very clean, they have a very fresh look to them. . There is a refrigerator in the room, most rooms have balconies. Bathroom is very nice and the shower has a door. The breakfast is just as you walk in. The location of the hotel is located close to everything.

A very centrally located hotel - we easily walked no more than 30mins to all we wanted to see, with lots of good restaurants nearby. Comfortable rooms with an excellent shower (much welcomed after a few weeks travelling). Tasty breakfast included made for decent value for money. Only downside was lots of birds nearby to keep you up/wake you early... More

My wife and I booked one of the 2 suites. The room was very big for the price we paid, but we would have preferred the room opposite ours as there is a larger building being built on the left/west side of the hotel, meaning no natural lighting in the room. The rooms come with breakfast, but otherwise there is... More

The hotel seemed fine for the price/quality ratio until I was woken up at 7:00 on a Sunday morning by a construction saw a meter from my bedroom window. I spoke with the staff and while they said they would change my room they didn't seem to see what the problem was nor would they refund the night that was... More

I was happy with this hotel overall, it was well located, clean, and with good service. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, with limited choice and not a lot of food, probably better to avoid it and find something nearby. A fine enough place for a night or two...
